Reminds me of the old wrestling room. Granted I’m not hitting it as long or hard as I used to. The bag that is.

Biden is wrong on all counts. He is ignorant of the history of Israel.

Biden defends Muslim luring Muslim votes in Michigan. How did Muslims all of a suddenly multiply so rapidly in America. They are now all over the world.

And Barack brought so many into America during his administration. And Biden even compounded their numbers coming in, most of them are terrorists. So many crimes done to our people young and old and even our own law enforcement officers are killed.

All of these events Biden must be held accountable.

Problem there is that there's no evidence that Hamas actually DID any of those things. But Israel does it to Palestinians all the time. There are thousands of Palestinian prisoners in Israel that were never tried. Many of them are children. These prisoners ARE tortured routinely. They are often blindfolded and shackled to fences for days on end. Many of them have injuries caused by shackles that lead to amputations.

Basically, what you are doing here is packaging up all the inhumane actions of Israel and projecting it on the Palestinians. You're charging the victims with the crimes. And you have the gall to question the hearts of others?

There's never been a country called Tennessee either, Scooter. Ya gonna tell me Tennessee doesn't exist and shouldn't exist? It doesn't matter if Palestine ever matched YOUR nerdy definition of a country... The area where Israel currently sits has been referred to as Palestine since the Romans gave it that name. The Empires that controlled it, the Romans, the Ottomans the British... They ALL referred to it as Palestine. They never called it Israel.

And why would that make me wrong on so many counts anyway? I never said it was a country.

Jim0001 wrote:

I don't blame the people of Gaza for putting them there. They need SOMEONE to break them free of Israeli oppression. This is why I suggested an invasion of the occupied territories in my other thread. It won't happen because of the Pro-Israeli lobby in Washington, but if not for that and maybe the Christian Zionists, we could whip together an international coalition, including ALL the Arab and European nations that are are already condemning Israel's occupation, in a matter of days, then invade Gaza.

Objectives would be to clear the territories of non-coalition combatants, move a resolution through the U.N. to declare Gaza an international zone, administer humanitarian aid, carry out a regime change in Gaza, negotiate or force a complete withdrawal of Israeli control from Gaza, move the U.S. Embassy back to Tel Aviv, initiate a reconstruction framework in Gaza and establish a plan for transitioning sovereign control from the UN to a new republic of Palestine.

Israel wins too because the threat of Hamas will be gone. Granted, the Islamic Resistance being a matter of religious-extremism may not accept the continued existence of Israel at all. They will always be a problem and Palestine will need constitutional promises to do what it can to secure a peaceful relationship with Israel.

It will be the start of the two-state solution, that everyone on the planet wants but the Zionists. Since Zionism is pretty much the same thing as the Islamic Resistance, a fight for land that weaponizes religion, we have to expect the same. Zionists may not accept that they can't take over the entire region from river to sea. They will always be a problem too, they may even revert back to their terrorist entities like Irgun.

Despite the inevitable fanatics on the fringe, this solution would put an end to systemic violations of basic human rights that have characterized the Israeli occupation and it will give the Palestinians a chance to make something of Gaza that Israel only pretended to give them.

I'll say one thing though, given the brutality of the Israeli occupation I don't think Palestinian children need anyone to *teach* them to hate Jews.

Hope?...that is what you believe hamas gives their subjects living in Gaza? Then your ignorance on their situation is greater than I thought. They might hope that hamas will give them some of the food, medicine, gas, and building supplies they've been given over the last 20 years. Unfortunately hamas used it all to try and kill jews and to build tunnels to hide in under hospitals and schools.

Hamas is a terrorist organization, one that the gazans have repeatedly elected. You are wrong that we don't support this terrorist group however. We have donated over $4 billion to these terrorists over the last 20 years, see our donations to UNRWA.

You believe that CNN retracting a story has meaning, I don't. CNN is like the national enquirer, they gotten every major story over the last 8 years ass backwards. They still haven't retracted their Russian collusion lies or 50 intelligence agents lie. IMO, being a pacifist IS the best.
BTW, most pacifists I know are combat vets.

So... first you tell me that I'm ignorant for even suggesting that Hamas might have given them hope. THEN you talk about how they might have done just that. Are you in the habit of insulting people for saying the very same thing that you are about to say?

You can continue to propagate that narrative if it's that important to you but I know that Hamas did in fact provide government services including healthcare. I don't get all uptight about ignoring anything positive for fear of compromising my acknowledgement that they also run a terrorist operation.

WEBCO wrote:

You don't know that. Besides, if that were true the starvation and disease we see now would have already been a factor BEFORE 10/7.

UNRWA is not part of the U.S. government. So, I am correct in saying that "we" (as in, our tax money) are not giving anything to Hamas. But thank you for the link... UNRWA is asking for donations to help Palestinian refugees, so I did.

BTW, I'm a progressive and I'm not calling for the eradication of Israel. Seems like maybe, you're the one that's confused. The people who want to eradicate Israel are the fanatics in Hamas who in political terms, happen to be a right-wing, religious-conservative group. The opposite of progressive.

Going into deeper debt to support them, cut our social security, so they can give them money they don’t deserve.
They get so much more than United States citizens get, this is crazy.

Sure... persecution, natural disaster, war... they all count. A refugee is anyone who is forcefully displaced. So nice try. What is it with all you conservatives trying to disqualify arguments by redefining words? Is that the latest tip from Ann Coulter on how to talk to a liberal?

martsiva wrote:

OK... So a Jewish family in 1935 Germany is gathered around the table for a family vote. Are they OK with being persecuted so that they would be separated from each other and relocated or do they want to live a better life which means they would have to escape persecution?

martsiva wrote:

I checked... Judicial Watch is one of those 503(c) non-profit corporations used to advance conservative political agendas. If they're like any of the others, the lawyers are sleaze-balls and all the organization cares about is chasing all opposing views out of the republic. These 503(c) are a dime a dozen.

As soon as the Republicans pushed the law to allow political organizations to claim tax exemption, thousands of forms were filed. The IRS was flooded with it and the audits were finding tons of invalid claims almost all of them from conservative groups. Conservatives made a big deal out of how the Obama administration was "targeting" conservatives. I remember laughing my ass off... They aren't "targeting" conservatives, you dimwits... It just so happens that almost all of the invalid 503(c) forms were from conservatives.

martsiva wrote:

OK, first of all... there's nothing about immigration that has ANY bearing on our sovereignty. I suggest you look that word up.
Secondly, I only support undocumented immigrants within the scope of emergency. I know you would be happy to watch them die on the street but I'm not like that. I help people when I can and I don't give a f*ck if you don't like the person I'm helping just because our immigration process is too underfunded (thanks to the Republicans) to process him.

martsiva wrote:

Don't give me that crap. I AM a legal immigrant and I know perfectly well, that there are undocumented immigrants that are more than willing to do everything I did but the system is intentionally limited. So not every one who is willing to work hard and get here legally are allowed to. For refugees it's even worse because they often can't start the process in the countries they are coming from.

All you are doing is using a law to justify your bigotry.

Must be nice to believe that you're never wrong. You are ignorant if you believe hamas gives hope to their subjects. Our tax dollars go to UNRWA to the tune of $4 billion since 2000, you can do mental gymnastics all you want to say that the US isn't supporting hamas, but you are wrong.
