You really have drunk the "cool-aid" haven't you pal? When the government doesn't like the CPI number, they change the composition of theindex to cover up the problem.

When the government wants to cover-up the "illegal migrant" problems that THEY CREATED, they find a bunch of economists (funded by government grants) to plant bogus stories such as this, so the "intellectually challenged" portion of the public will buy into this narrative. Judging by this post, it seems like it is succeeding!

It's truly not. The FED IMO is doing (and has been) everything wrong. Technically we are close to a recession, if one used the old definition of a recession.
There are a lot of really bad indicators out there.

1) Inverted Bond Curve
2) Most New jobs have gone to illegals, which depress's wages for American workers
3) People don't buy inflation. They buy prices and prices have stagnated and are starting to go up again.
4) More and more government stimulus (tax payer money) for illegal immigration. This will keep prices up.
5) More credit card debt than ever in our history.

I cannot believe anyone could think it's good for America to pay cheap labor at the cost of American jobs.
