If you choose to send your children to a 'private' school, you pay for it and quit demanding that 'everyone'

else should pay for it.

After all, isn't that what magas like to call 'socialism'?

***Paying for private, christian, catholic or religious schools
>>>What a wonderful idea. The money follows the student. Every student, K through 12. AS long as the school gets tested results in educating America's children.

Imagine, a public school gets 10,000/student and only 25% make standards. A private school should also get $10.000/student especially when they get 75% meeting standards. And home school gets 80% meeting standards. Where is America's money better spent. Supporting failing public school union teachers, or religious teachers that get the job done on less money. Or maybe just Mom and Dad getting the job done at home.

It would take a special kind of stupid to keep backing failing public schools while making the parents of private schooled children have to pay for those kids too. Sounds like a trolls delight. And the As man gets schooled again in common sense.

Troll alert

Let us not leave out the fact that a substantial number of the families applying for such funding are, in fact, minority families.

Eric Holder attempted to sue Governor Jindal on this matter. The embarrassment was great when the DOJ did the study and found it was black families pursuing vouchers.

The cult, such as the troll who started the thread, lack the wherewithal to do due diligence before they expose their lack of knowledge on their topics.

A demented, yet childish geezer, and a wretched post menopausal biddie, apparently are unaware of the constitution

auhortizing PUBLIC education, while making no mention of private, religious or home schooling to be funded

with public money.

as stated, if you choose to send your offspring to private or religious schools, pay for it yourself, no matter

whaat your race is.

Exactly where does the Constitution provide for public education? Which Article?

By the way, they offer remedial writing courses for the writing challenged.

Public education is not in the constitution. Perhaps you need to read the constitution.

Actually, since the 'legal experts' make careers of 'interpreting' what the constitution really says, consider the

10th amendment, which give the states the right to establish and find public education in their states, however,

the 14th amendment when a state establishes public schools, that the funding must provide for equal education

of all students, and that separation may be unconstitutional, ergo, private schools cannot be funded at

the expense of established public schools.

I do not want public money in religious schools. Catholic schools are mot a big problem, they focus on educating. Yeshivas and Madrassa would have to be funded equally, and they are for indoctrination more than education, and should certainly not be funded.

As long as parents pay for it, not taxpayers, especially if it reduces funding for the public schools.

We have school choice. The money follows the student, it works great. Why do democrats always vote against a better education for children? The current state of public schools is a travesty, they are making all kids stupid, so the stupid ones don't "feel" stupid.
