Republican politicians and sympathetic media outlets are claiming that America is in the midst of a violent "crime wave," driven in part by undocumented immigrants. New data, however, demonstrates that there was not a spike in violent crime in 2023. Instead, across America, rates of violent crime are dropping precipitously — and the decline is especially pronounced in border states.

It is an election year so all reports coming from the government will be slanted to favor Biden. Crimes not reported are extremely high so any statistics on crime rates are incomplete.

I didn't read the entire article. Just skimmed the beginning. I don't know which 14 states and don't have more time to find out right now. But just saying - there are states that have already compiled their stats. Even if it's less than a quarter of the US states, depending on which ones they are it could be significant.
