What do you think of Biden's State of the Union speech especially where he challenged Putin and others?
Who was that masked man who was masquerading for that old falling down idiot Biden that Fox and Trump and the MAGA crowd keeps screaming about? Are you kidding me?
President Joe Biden taking it to everyone, Trump, Putin, Israel, the rich and telling the American people and the world, Joe Biden has what it takes. Like him or hate him, he beat the old man trope to the ground.
I watched the pundits afterwords and instead of talking about Biden stumbling or old, they were arguing that he was too strong, too political, too combative. CNN’s Republican guys were so angry they accused Biden of not supporting Israel which led Anderson Cooper to say, wait a minute guys are you really saying that or is it a Republican talking point at which they both shut up.
The repartee of Biden against Marjorie Taylor-Greene, or other catcalls where he caught out Republicans on taxes for the rich or increasing the age for Social Security, were great theater. Biden was smiling, in control, you could see he loved being there.
He even had a joke for Lindsey Graham about wanting to go home saying, I know you want me to finish up Lindsey but I got a few more things to say and he smiled and Lindsey laughed and never stopped smiling for several minutes.
Despite what you will hear about the old man on the front porch yelling, really? That is the best the Republicans can offer in criticism, he went on and on about bi-partisan deals especially the border deal where this was the reaction of the lead GOP Senator, Lankford to Biden’s various details and claims on what could have happened if Trump had allowed the House to vote which would have easily passed and gone into law as the Senate already had a deal with the House and Biden.
Lankford mouthed “That’s True” to all of Biden’s claims which were far ranging and clearly would cut the traffic at the border.
You don’t think Biden is going to show that about a million times in the campaign in the next few months.
Like everyone else I was wondering could Biden even make it through the speech without to many gaffes, I mean I was ready for him to be a doddering idiot mouthing something about let’s all work together and good night.
Instead he was more than vintage he knocked it out of the park. Scott Jennings who was one of the apoplectic Republicans probably helped Biden the most when he yelled, “that was like a convention speech not a State of the Union’. Yes Scott you nailed it, Biden is running against his ‘predecessor’ whom he mentioned but not by name, 13 times.
Biden used his podium tonight very well. If you are pro-American there was a lot to like. He supported NATO, took on Putin, pushed back hard on Netanyahu, opened a delivery port for aid to Gaza and called for a cease fire now. He did a lot to bring back his constituencies that needed work like the Arab and Muslim Americans without alienating the Jewish vote. He hit all the usual buttons on Social Security, Medicare but he went after the billionaires ala Bernie Sanders and he pushed the fact that the Biden economy has been the best in the world for the past 2 years and going strong.
Every single point that Trump has tried to hit Biden on, Biden struck back forcefully clearly with the minimum amount of stuttering and gaffes. He was well prepared and it showed and it also showed he loves the arena. He loves the fight, he loves both sides of the aisle, you can see how he can get along with everyone.
No one hates Joe Biden except Trump, the MAGA crowd and the right wing media. Biden knows how to connect and he truly showed he loves being out there with the American people and beyond.
My grade : A+ and I am not joking, I don’t know anyone who could have done better even at half his age.
Good job Joe, now on to the reelection campaign. A truly give’em hell Harry (Truman) moment and one that should launch Biden into the rest of his campaign. Don’t give in, don’t back down and keep on pushing right to November.

Below is the perfect response to his “campaign” speech! He did absolutely nothing to bring Americans together! He mentioned Trump 13 times………..No other president has ever mentioned his opponent 13 times in a State of the Union address, which IMO proves just how worried he is of Trump and the millions of Americans that support him. He ignored the invasion of the “newcomers” and the ever increasing murders, rape, crime, drugs, terrorists, etc……He ignored the run-a-way inflation that is crushing Americans, even those on the left. Because of these problems many Democrats are turning their backs on Biden. They are putting their families above the loyalty to the Democrats! Thank God!
I don’t know what they shot poor old Joe up with in order for him to have yelled an entire hour, but I want some of that! 🤗. Let’s see how often he can accomplish this on the campaign trail in the coming months! I’m betting he doesn’t!
