Many Christians believe that the highest calling God has placed on us is to be nice.  These Christians are wrong. God has not called us to be nice, rather He has called on us to be good.  Here's the difference.  Nice people never confront evil, good people do.  Nice people are weak, good people are strong. Jesus wasn't nice, He was kind, He was compassionate, He was caring, but He was unbending and unflinching when it came to standing for the Truth and it cost Him his life. No one is more intolerant of sin than Jesus or more loving, compassionate and ready to forgive a penitent sinner.

Have you committed the ultimate and deadly sin against Truth or do you deny such a thing even exist? Who the bloody hell do YOU understand wants Christ's Truth compromised and confused? "May the confused, contradicting, contentious peace of Christ be with us all?" That can only be a Satanic blessing.

This is not a frivolous question. If you can't answer it, even to yourself, then your beliefs have no foundation at all.

I might point out that the Founders of our Republic recognized that it is not so easy to establish one single religious truth that all can agree on, and, having observed the endless troubles that problem created in Europe, wrote it into the Constitution that the government shall not attempt to establish any one single truth for all.
