That's a nice strategy which is likely to reveal much when applied to interpersonal and political situations.
In a scientific context, not so much. Come on, Rose, you are no idiot. Scientific issues are not suppressed by some mysterious power structure. They are suppressed only if they are downright wrong.
You’re no idiot either and I think you’d be surprised at what happens in the scientific community. Its very political. Its often a go along to get along community. I had no idea until I worked for some and spoke to my cousin’s husband who is a nuclear physicist (really). Of course they’re not all the same but its not unheard of for some to be ostracized for not going along with what’s popular.

Surely you don't take flat-earth delusions, chemtrails, and alien abductions seriously. We don't laugh at these "theories" because they might be dangerously true, but because they are so false as to be ridiculous.
No none of those though chemtrails do bear some scrutiny. I will remind you that scientists gave the Tuskeegee Airmen syphillis, our Joint Chiefs proposed sinking one of our own ships to get public support for a war with Cuba (Operation Northwoods) and there have been numerous other false flags throughout our history.
I’d remind you that man’s nature has not changed.
