I have to say that Biden has been a bit cheaper on travel than Trump was. That was because his handlers didn't want him to expose himself more than absolutely necessary, or be classed as an idiot. It didn't help, the G-20 people all know about Biden and how he has to wait for his handlers to tell him what to say.

Presidential travel has become enormously expensive in these years. To go overseas they have to use two of the big AF-1 747s, one for backup, and then some three C-17's with communications, security people and his limousine plus SUVs for the security detail, and hotels & meals for the lot of them at the destination and at the alternate place (where the back-up 747 goes).

Trump was far more effective in getting the bag of cats over in Europe to pony up money for their own defense vice the US picking up more of the tab. He was not liked much for that, but now they all say Trump was right to do it. I'd say Trump scored and Biden didn't, once again. Seems that Biden only scores when he either follows Trump's lead or slathers billions of free dollars around to grease the way. What a loser!
