Are you kidding me?? I `m growing a pomegranate tree right now for a friend!! They grow best in climates like California so that price is definitely out of touch with where you live!!

You really should not go to Whole Foods. About double the price than the local supermarket chain I go to.

I will say I only buy my potatoes from Whole Foods. I became very tired of purchasing potatoes from other markets and finding them “bad” in the middle of the potato or having a multitude of “cuts” from when they were dug up. Whole Foods is only slightly higher on potatoes and worth not having to throw half away.

Why is POM pomegranate juice so expensive?
Pomegranates are very rare. The more rare and scarce a food item is, the more expensive it is to find, develop, harvest and bring to market.

Pomegranates are not rare.

No, but have you ever tried squeezing the juice out of them and have to filter out the little "pits" also?
I would say the labor costs in making pomegranate juice is why it would be expensive.

They make it in Thailand on the street in about 45 seconds, fruit to juice.

Pomegranate fruits are costly ( on unit basis, compared to apples and oranges). also removing the seed from the fruit is labor intensive. Also trees do not produce a whole lot of fruits like oranges and apples.

My gage for prices is my Coca Cola. Since 2021, it has gone from $1.99, for the large bottle, to $3.89. Fortunately, we can purchase a four pack, at Costco, for less than the grocery store cost.

I use the price of a case of beer.

proud, The problem of rising prices is not Biden's fault. He has brought back the economy from recession, as seen through the rising prices of the stock market, and increasing jobs. He can not tell private industry how to run their businesses. The problem seems to be greedy corporations.

Covid, drove anything positive, in the American market place: Unemployment, Jobs, medicine, politics, et al!

Biden, Obammy, & dr. Fauci, are three of the most responsible, besides China!

Trump, inherited this pandemic, &, had to borrow "trillions, to save Millions".... & the Stinking Dem's blamed Trump!

*When Trump "left", he was blamed for this *Demo'rat disease...[ That *belonged to *China, *Obammy, & *Biden]

The demo'rats, tried to take "Credit", for "re-emerging Polulace", re-employing the masses, & restoring our economy!

All by design, of the Evil demo'rats, & China! Make no mistake: the Demorats, are responsible for the deaths, of

over 17 Million Earth people [ "All by their Lonesome"]
