I have a plan you might be interested in, it should make you rich in very short order. First go out and buy a bunch of say pomegranates, two or three bushel baskets would probably do to start. Secondly sell them off at $20 or $25 each, or go for $50 each if you feel you really need the money. Even if you had to buy them at $8 each, by the time you've sold all of them you would have made a nice greedy profit. Repeat a few times and you too can be one of them rich greed money grubbing MAGAs.

I do have a question Do pomegranates grow in California? I have noticed a lot of fruits are more expensive including small watermelons...$8.00 and bananas $2.00/bunch. Yes food prices have been high but here locally they are going down but slowly.

Pomegranates are very rare. The more rare and scarce a food item is, the more expensive it is to find, develop, harvest and bring to market.

My gage for prices is my Coca Cola. Since 2021, it has gone from $1.99, for the large bottle, to $3.89. Fortunately, we can purchase a four pack, at Costco, for less than the grocery store cost.
