My grocery store just went up again. I wish it was all going to infrastructure, but it looks like most of it is going to Ukraine.
I am aware of four local projects in my area. Two are major highway expansions. Not needed now, but good for the future. Another paid for extensive sidewalks out beyond the edge of the town, five feet wide and on both sides of the road, extending out over a mile in an area where no one lives. The fourth one is a one way overpass (North bound lane only) at an intersection that has not had a traffic accident in decades. The work eliminates NO stop signs, and changes nothing about the flow of traffic, except putting the south bound lane 25' in the air. There will be no increase in safety. Same number of stop-and-look points, but with less visibility. They have been working on it for THREE YEARS and still not finished. If they worked on it full time, they could be finished in a month. I do not believe is will be finished by NEXT Christmas. As best I can tell, it is a money pit that the contractors can get paid for while the cement dries at their primary job.
My point is that, as far as I can see locally, the Biden infrastructure bill is doing little but buying votes by spending MY TAX MONEY to pay workers great wages and benefits for doing unneeded work at a nice slow pace. Worse, it is not really using MY tax money.....it is using borrowed money that will put my family in tax debt for the next three generations.

But reasoning does NOT override FACTS, Radiance.
The same facts were true in Nov 2020. Yet VERY close to 50% of voters pulled for Biden. Fraud surely played a part in his win, but no one knows how big part. Was it the deciding factor? Probably, but that can not be confirmed.
NO MATTER HOW great Trump campaigns, 40% at an absolute MINIMUM will vote Biden. That means we have to convince AT LEAST 10% of not-very-politically-minded folks to vote, and vote for Trump. That is a very LARGE number to convince that the Democrats have been lying about Trump for over eight years, when Trump is facing 91 legal indictments. The vast majority of not-very-politically-minded folks do not want to accept, or even consider, that our elections process may be that corruptted.
I do not think the Republican party is up to educating or convincing 10% in only eleven months, even with Biden and his policies working so hard to prove it to them.

The definition of an insurrection is: An armed rebellion. Those people were not armed. The only people armed was the police. 700 people have been charged, not one person has been charged with insurrection except Trump and he was not even there. How can you charge someone with something when they wasn't even there?
