Refused to recognize his own granddaughter (a really despicable thing) till public pressure forced him to do so

When Obama was running against McCain, some conservatives decided to play dirty and invent a completely fake story that Obama was not born in the US. But of course McCain was actually born in Panama so this just demonstrates the double standards of many Republicans.

This is being demonstrated again now where Trump is claiming that his indictments are evidence that Biden is using the justice department to intefere with the 2024 election. There is zero evidence of this, but again, you just have to look back at the 2016 election to see Trump doing the same thing by urging the FBI to investigate Clinton and getting his supporters to shout “lock her up”.

It is becoming obvious that some on the right, have no morals and just want to win at all costs. You might think the country moved on after the birth certificate proved their claims were wrong, but they were still picking on Obama many years later. Remember Obamagate, which was apparently the crime of the century, and again disappeared again after it became obvious there was no evidence.

Republican policies are not the problem and people like McCain and Cheney have shown what the Republican party could be like. But sadly Trump has turned it into a place where lies and threats are more important than helping the American people.
