They need their human shields for sympathy propaganda to the West. Israel values human life whereas the Hamas barbarians do not-they value "martyrdom" for their demented hate ideology.

About 10 days ago, an IDF PIO, a Lt Colonel, gave a daily briefing using videos taken by both Hamas terrorists and IDF soldiers. With such a video record, he made it very clear that IDF troops ARE NOT targeting civilians, rather they are targeting men between 17 and 35, dressed in civilian clothes, who are carrying weapons - AKs, M16s, RPGs.
Hamas does not fight in uniform as a distinct military unit, they dress to blend in with civilians. In every way possible, Hamas uses Palestinian civilians as human shields.

Again, with video confirmation, the colonel described how the IDF, with armor and troops, established an escape corridor from the northern battle zone to the southern Egyptian gate where "humanitarian aid" is coming in truck loads. The video shows streams of Palestinian civilians flowing south, and at the time of this briefing, 900,000 civilians had been evacuated to safety and supplies. I imagine the number is now over 1 million.

Total casualties in Israel/Palestinian conflict since it began in 1920:
Israelis - 30,000 killed, 37,000 wounded = 67,000.
Palestinians - 100,000 killed, 80,000 wounded =180,000.

I am curious, there are 15 million Jews on earth today, 8 million are Israelis, the rest are scattered all over the world, most of them in the US. What is your definition of "Zionism" and how many Jews are Zionists?

The Sadducees and Pharisees were two different sects of Jewish religious leaders. Caiaphas was a Pharisee.

The main reason the Jewish religious leaders - Caiaphas being the chief - accused Jesus of being a false prophet, a heretic and imposter, is because they believed the Messiah would come as a warrior in his chariot leading an army that would defeat the Romans. They simply could not accept the idea the messiah could be a penniless carpenter from Nazareth who came to save their wretched souls. They were violently disturbed by His claim to be the Son of God.
