Before you support this guy, you ought to read the Wikipedia bio of him. He refuses to say that Biden won. He voted not to certify Biden. So he is an insurrectionist. Is he going to promise not to revolt again? Also he pleaded no contest to a felony bribery thing. Don't you want the speaker to be at least a bit honest?

Then all that is needed to stop the shutdown is for democrats to agree to stop the wasteful spending they are foisting on American taxpayers.
