It seems counterproductive to take votes away from Trump because the Republicans in the House of Representatives can't nominate a Speaker. Why punish Trump? That's exactly what the Democrats want... (and by "Democrats" I am including the 25 or so House Republicans who are really Democrats because of the way they are voting). The Democrats have control of the Senate and the White House, and they are desperate to get back the House of Representatives by next year's election! My opinion is that the Democrats are paying the RINO's to vote against Jim Jordan because he is someone who can actually do damage to their cheating and rigging (which, by the way, they are already doing for the election next year!) I can't prove it, but it makes sense the way the voting is going - they want someone they can control! They certainly can't control Jordan!! And I think what's happening in Congress right now with this Speaker thing is planned so people will do exactly what you are saying you are going to do.

Ask yourself why are there so many RINO's (Republicans In Name Only) and NO "DINO's" (Democrats In Name Only)??!! I believe it is because the Democrats are continuing to do what they do best - cheating and rigging elections! They are power-hungry money grabbers and will stop at nothing to get control of not only our government but each and every single one of us. The wealthy will do much better than the Middle Class, too, because it's the Middle Class - which is half of all Americans - they want to get rid of. They already control the low classes with government monies (Welfare, Unemployment, food stamps, subsidies, etc.)

Trying to make sense of Democrats' strategies is a fool's errand. That effort is usually based on the assumption that the Democrats are interested in furthering God, Country and The American Way. Wrong! I haven't seen that in evidence. Just remember that they will do anything they feel necessary to attain the ends they desire which rarely has anything to do with the goals we hold dear. Note the strategies they employed to go after Trump, a man who truly wanted those higher goals for the Country.
