There have been a total 21 shut downs. Both parties share responsibility for a shut down. Neither party is willing to negotiate a compromise. But go ahead, blame them all on Republicans or Conservatives. Throw it on your heap of lies.

Life is slowly coming together for the displaced residents. It’s a lot to have on your plate when you have to find an alternative place to live after losing your home and all your possessions, find new employment because the hotel or restaurant you worked at got incinerated, and find and place your children at another school. That’s just the practical stuff. The mental health challenges will take several years to overcome if ever.
But the island community has stepped up and we are going to make it. There are going to be scars of all kinds but they will heal with love and forbearance.
