I respect your opinion Webco, however the problem that I have with people "any people" just going out and tearing down statues is that "someone else determines for the whole what statues stay and what gets torn down". Not only that, but the people in those communities paid to have the statues commission, they should have a say in what happens to them. Would it be okay with you if non-believers went around the country tearing down crosses and representations of their religious beliefs.

No. As I stated, other than the statue honoring Lenin, in Seattle, I don't want any statues or objects of historical importance torn down. The people who do those things are always wrong.

Other than staying true to our "limited" government described in the Constitution, I can't think of anything.
I'm not saying that Biden’s not responsible for the things you listed. I'm just saying that you are taking his statement out of context. It's like Trump being taken out of context, like on his Charlottesville speech. They omit/delete words or sentences to alter the meaning, like omitting Trump saying that the white supremacists and neo Nazis were despicable. So saying that there were "good people" on both sides of tearing down historical statues is completely misconstrued. I also disagree with Trump, NOBODY trying to tear down a statues is a good person...unless they are trying to tear down the statues celebrating Stalin in Seattle.

Thank you Web. That is the point I was trying to make. It is a LEFTIST DEMOCRAT tactic to take something out of context, and then hammer the speaker for saying something he did not actually say.
We should not do the same thing. We are BETTER than that. Everyone knows that Biden and his Gestapo-like Democrat administration does and says enough things bad for America that we have no need to lie or exaggerate, and we shouldn't in any case. The ends do NOT justify the means.

Yeah, Republicans use that line in their concession speeches.
"We lost with dignity, playing the game by the rules, beaten by a foe who'll do anything to win again and again, but we consider ourselves better men than they are "

Which leads one to believe the adage that Republicans prefer to stay in the minority, shuffle their feet, tilt side to side in the wind, and occasionally winge in front of the camera.... rather than lead.
Re-election is everything to them, while it is a primary enemy of the people.

I think next election we'll have trucks with one mark ballots at the ready just like you kommiecrats did last presidential election and every election after that. I think we have learned our lesson. It ain't how many votes you get, it's how many ballots you have ready to be counted.

Yes, they do. Do you really want Republicans who win by being just like Democrats? They won't.
Do you really think that they are losing because they are not being nasty and ruthless and dishonest enough?
If we pursue the Democratic model of lie and exaggerate in order to terrify voters into voting for us, then all we will accomplish is drive the decent and honorable and honest voters to stay home in disgust.
Or do you really think we can out lie or sling more mud or frighten low information voters BETTER than the Democrats??????
I said NOTHING about not being brutal, but be brutally HONEST. I said nothing about being gentle, passive, or uncommitted. A strong man can be honest, blunt, solid, and yet never lie or be dishonest.
That's the kind of candidate that we need. One like Reagan.

More like Romney, who still gets walked on a leash by Candy Crowley.
The Republicans wear their mud as a badge of honor in the losers circle.
The kommiecrats play dirty and win every time.
Time to get mud on the kommiecrats.
Pence/Cheney for the perfect Republican ticket!
