The GOP (tax breaks for wealthy and big business) has created larger wealthier upper class and larger class of poorer people reducing size of middle class. GOP has passed legislation that has had biggest increase in national debt while in office as well.(Debt: Obama 8 years recession, Iran war, $7.6 Trillion or ~$1T per year, Trump 4 years, pandemic, tax decreases $6.7 T or ~ $1.7T per year, Biden 2 years, pandemic , infrastructure & inflation reduction acts $2.5T or ~ $2.25T per year to date.)
Biden added more debt per year than Trump or Obama, but Biden Administration is not expected to continue at that rate. Clearly Trumps $6.7 T over one term is largest $$ amount of debt increase in one term increase in USA history- mostly due to tax cuts and pandemic funding.( Data from Pew Research)

My Dad started in business around 1940. He never took a handout. He worked his ass off to feed and house his family. Back in the day, he had this guy working for him, primarily illiterate, and with a wife and two kids. They hit the bottom of the barrel and my Dad heard about it and wanted to give him some cash to tide him over. He told my Dad that his family was his business and to stay out of his business. He kept working for my Dad until he died. He finally got out of his financial hole and worked his ass off six days a week. He didn't count on charity. He worked. He took care of his own. My Dad always respected him and just quietly gave him a raise a few months later to help him and make it look legitimate. That is the kind of guy that made America great. And my Dad. Not these hands out for a hand out people of today, that look for government to steal someone else's money and give it to them.

Always remember that story. You take care of your own responsibilities and don't look for handouts. Do whatever work you can to make it happen.

Another story about him. One winter he arrived at work on his Harley. Rain and sleet coming down. The men inside heard the Harley, but it didn't shut off. WTF. They went out to find him frozen to his motorcycle. They pushed him inside until he thawed out enough to get off his Harley. How many men do you know, that dedicated to his job and family, to go through that to get to work. I'm guessing none. Including yourselves. Yeah, me too.
