Uh, gee...yes it has occurred to "us"...I have high hopes that trump does win the nomination against all warnings that he will be a mistake...then watch MAGAs flip out and pop gaskets as the DOJ and prosecutors go full steam ahead on him regardless of whether he is the republican candidate.
The DOJ will have him indicted well before the primary, and at that point it's the republican party's fault for allowing such stupidity to exist in their party. Trump's position is that he can run even if indicted or from jail, but what sense does that make to support someone with "all this baggage" as you say?
He's done, he's unelectable, and no amount of election denial and efforts to overturn his loss again is going to matter.

I have noticed a few Republicans have come around to the fact that Trump can win the Republican nomination but will loose the race for president again. Remember 1/6? Everybody does.
