I have always said that knowingly lying to people that trust them as a media source is fraud, it is criminal and should be addressed. Lying to people as a representative of facts is not freedom of speech any more than lying to people about false claims of products and what they will do is, and the government regulates the claims manufacturers can make about their products, they can only claim what they can prove

Here is a perfect example where the right did try to side with the left. They agreed with, supported their cause, even spent hundreds of millions of taxpayer money being assured that the left was carrying the good fight to the so called enemy. It was a chance for the left leaning liberals to prove themselves as the Leaders that We Thought, and hoped they would be. But alas, we found ourselves sucked into a scheme that left us with egg all over our faces, and proved that even a gesture of faith on our behalf would reach around and stab us in the back!
