Disney took a political stand based on a lie, "don't say gay", against a bill to protect children. The very demographic their business was designed to appeal to. At least half their customers don't like it. They then doubled down on their woke productions and edits. They betrayed their own values of providing content based on innocence and fun for children. They are losing public trust and support and that is the reason they are going broke. No doubt Walt is rolling over in his grave over what current management is doing to his dream. Had they stayed true to the values of the company, of their customers, nothing would have changed.
Disney took a political stand based on a lie, &quo... (show quote)

What about don't say gay was a lie? Walt had a bit of a perverted streak himself, or have you missed the high level of insider jokes embedded in Disney animated movies?

I missed the part where it's Disney against taxpayers...it's Disney against a wannabe dictator DeSantis that has turned this into a power play where government should never be screwing with the biggest business in Florida's economy.

Disney will lose their suit. No other company in the United States was ever set up with the type of tax privileges that Disney had, and they thought that they were bigger and more important than the other taxpayers in the state of Florida. They should have kept their mouths shut regarding the Parental Rights in Education Act HB1557.

“Don’t Say Gay” is the moniker partisan Democrats have given the Florida bill. It is intentionally misleading."

The bill addresses children from K-3. Why do you want to take the innocence of childhood away from them so early?

You have a vivid imagination. Think seasonal weather and the ability to pick up and leave.
Cost is probably prohibitively expensive even for Disney.

Liberals are, first & foremost, liars. The straw man doesn't exist and they set about knocking him down.

Wannabe dictator? What a nutty narrative

Meanwhile Biden is going to sign an executive order to give banks and the government more control over us while you aren’t paying attention

Think if things were reversed. What if Florida was run by the Democrats and a staunch Conservative Corporation began dabbling in politics and was attacking the laws and policies of the Democrat ? What do you think the Democrat Governor would do ?

Sold everything Disney in my portfolio today. Looked and found I had nothing to do with Anheuser Busch.
I feel good now.

You are pretending that mickey has already won. He may very well win, but this thing has a very long way to go. None of this was necessary. I bet if Walt was still alive and running things, none of this stupidity would have occurred.

I believe you would have been right. Walt is Definitely spinning in his grave.
