No they di-int. Everyone knew where Trump had his papers. Nobody knew that Joe had stashed his in an unsecured garage next to his car. Trump still had Secret Service Protection at his home, so at least part of the time his papers were guarded by the Secret Service and it was a matter of months.
Biden lost his Secret Service Protection a few months after leaving the office of Vice President. Those papers sat unguarded in his garage for years. He did not have Trump's power to declassify his documents until he was President years later.
Other government employees have spent years in prison for doing what Joe Biden did.
