The Ukrainians are right in saying that as far as Putin is concerned, diplomacy is just for a temporary cease fire while Russia re-arms and scares up more cannon fodder recruits.

Yes, the Minsk agreement that NATO and ‘the West’ broke with Russia.

I realize some have a ‘Kol Nidre’ sort of ‘fingers crossed behind the back’ handshake. That does not excuse breaking an agreement. Merkel admitted the purpose was to allow time for Ukraine to re-arm. You contend the opposite. So, it seems you must be calling Merkel a liar.

Also, I posted a photo with the Merkel position which you replied had no substantiation.

What is your ‘rule’ for when substantiation must be included? Do you apply that rule to your own posting?
