Like you already said - we all have access to Trump's life. He probably has never done any corporate taxes. If the tax preparer makes a mistake, whether it is intentional or not, it is THEIR responsibility. The taxpayer would pay any extra taxes he is supposed to pay, but the preparer is liable for any penalties, fines, etc. And the taxpayer could sue the preparer for that extra tax they have to pay because of the "mistake" that the preparer made.

That's exactly WHY the tax preparer does not just accept willy-nilly the paperwork that the taxpayer submits to them as correct, complete or truthful!!

Does the National Archives have supena powers first? Did not yhe DOJ just visit Trumps home in June and had knowledge documents were there and ask Trump to put them under a new lock and he did? What is the concern of Trump having documents even if they were classified because didn't he have the very highest of security clearance in the country? And wasn't his home under the security of the secret service? Wasn't Trump working with the archives on his records? Didn't the DOJ wait a long while before seeking the search warrant and exciting it as well? I don't know why Trump had these documents but ir sure doesn't seem like it rises to the level of national security problem.
