Or did he send them to march peacefully and patriotically?

President Trump DID NOT send an armed mob to stop the election process, the mob was already in the Capitol building BEFORE he finished his speech.

You cannot view the facts through a subjective and highly prejudicial prism and expect to uncover the truth.
If you cannot be objective and apply discriminate thought and unbiased reasoning, you will continue to believe a lie.

That's right.

Hello Blade_Runner,
If I understand your premise correctly, Trump didn't send an armed mob to the Capitol because the mop was already there by the time Trump finished his speech.
Here is the problem with that rational, Trump started prepping his mob days before the rally.
At 1:42 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2020 Donald Trump sent a tweet "that would galvanize his followers, unleash a political firestorm.
"Statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 Election," Trump tweeted, even after he had heard from many of his top political and legal advisers that he had, in fact, lost.
"Big protest in D.C. on January 6th," he wrote, referring to the day Congress was set to formally certify Joe Biden's victory in the electoral college.
"Be there, will be wild!"

A man who pleaded guilty to breaching the Capitol building, Stephen Ayres, testified to the committee that Trump's social media posts encouraged him to attend the rally on Jan. 6. "He basically put out, you know, come to the 'Stop the Steal' rally, you know, and I felt like I needed to be down here," Ayres testified.

Court documents from the more than 800 criminal cases stemming from the Capitol riot tell a similar story. In several cases, records from the criminal proceedings have referenced how Trump's tweet motivated rioters to make plans to come to Washington, D.C., and, in some cases, to gather weapons and body armor ahead of the trip.

Donald Trump: “There were no guns whatsoever” at the Capitol riot on Jan. 6.
Court documents, video evidence and news coverage directly contradict this characterization.
PolitiFact's ruling: False

Many of those involved in the attack were armed, and several had guns that police later seized.
People came to Washington DC from all over the country for Jan.6th because Trump called on them to do so days in advance. Not all attended the Rally, And some that were armed didn't attend because the police were searching attendees entering the Rally area.
So at the end of the Rally on the 6th was not the first time Trump said we are going to the Capitol.

"Hummmm, as much as you want me to, I just can't turn "Stop the Steal Rally" into a Stop the Steal Riot! It's not there-I saw the whole speech "at the time of the speech" and at no time did I feel like going and destroying a building or hurting police officers or politicians. Maybe those people who rioted had to think like you people!

Have you ever heard of Maxine Waters? I guess you forgot about her gentle encouragement for liberals to follow and harass Trump supporters everywhere they went, to “get in their faces”…and she’s just one example! LOL!

Nice try but those examples of violence that you listed were done by people on the streets acting on their own. None of it was encouraged in anyway by Democratic leaders.

Really…..how can you be so obtuse! It’s evident that you never played sports and never had a coach tell you to get in there and fight like hell! 😂

“But what he DID suggest... what he actually TOLD people to do, is "fight like hell". (the word fight comes up 32 times in his speech) here's a few of them... "you have to get your people to fight." - "we're going to have to fight much harder." - "if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore."

So when you put it all together it's like this... "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard but were going to have to fight much harder. if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore."

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English
run/hurt/fight etc like hell
informal not polite to run, fight etc very quickly or very much
My new shoes hurt like hell.
→ hell
Examples from the Corpus
run/hurt/fight etc like hell
• I was able to breathe only with the utmost difficulty, and my arm hurt like hell.
• My forehead hurt like hell and my body was bruised all over, but no bones were broken.
• Must have fought like hell to find its niche within the forest, to distinguish itself within the pack.
• I know he lost his legs first, and then his fingers-he died alone and it hurt like hell.
• Run, North, run; just run like hell.
• I remember running like hell, knowing I was being pursued and looking back for Sarah, who didn't join me.
• Spring sauntered north, but he had to run like hell to keep it as his traveling companion.
• We fought like hell for most of the time.

How, exactly, did he 'send an armed mob' when, according to the timeline, he was STILL talking to them when the riots started?

Oh, is THAT what he did? Huh. And here I thought he was watching TV while a riot of angry disenfranchised voters were letting their feelings be known to government officials. So very glad some of you guys on the left are such good mind readers. It eliminates that nasty problem of proof.

You don't seem to have any story right do you? Disenchanted voters? They weren't disenchanted they were fomenting an insurrection to overthrow the government and, no, Fat Donny was busy on the phone trying to get right wing senators to support him by trying to get their states to "declare" his fat ass the winner of the election that he lost by a wide margin.

Your hard line has some soft spots in it. The vandalism AND the violence was encouraged, applauded, defended, and celebrated by numerous Democrat officials, including Senators and Congressmen. And they did so far more strongly that Trump supposedly did on J6.

disenchanted? Try disenfranchised.
You must have a very low opinion of rebels. Or is it just Republicans? Or maybe just Trump supporters?
If one of us was 'fomenting an insurrection' with Trump there would have been tens of thousands of us there, and we would have been armed with a LOT more than flag poles and pepper spray. And if it HAD actually been an insurrection, a few dozen capital police officers would not have stopped us from completing the mission. So no, it was not planned by Trump and it was not an insurrection. It was a rally that turned into a riot.

Cute. I'll give you a 'c' for effort, but an 'f' for lack of originality.

What we do know for sure is that the Fat Boy did not send the mob to protest peacefully and patriotically. He told them to go to the capital and fight like hell or they would not have a country to come home to. What moron would translate that into "go peacefully and patriotically"?
