I'm sorry but that's a pretty lame attempt to wiggle out of owning up to a mistake. You were reminded of an exact quote of W.C. Fields, and you call it paraphrasing?

The two quotes are similar, but it's a pretty big leap to say they could be mistaken for each other..

That's correct. And Penny (aka Pennylynn, and several other "Penny's" and her many sockies) claim it was her home that was being renovated. She went into a long story of how they're having trouble turning the galley into a kitchen....and installing bathrooms and roofing (!!!)

The J6 Committee has staged actors promoting narratives which allege that Trump knew he lost the vote, yet sought to subvert the purported election results through the mechanisms left for delaying and proving the voting processes were rigged. These narratives are no more true than the five years of “Russian collusion” narratives.

The J6 hearings are a partisan witch hunt.

Plenty of proof exists that the election was stolen.

The J6 Committee attempts to provide themselves plausible deniability involving their roles in covering up vote trafficking, ballot counterfeiting and computer vote rigging. (2000 Mules and ABSOLUTE PROOF documentaries).

Giving voter ID card to new Americans coming across the southern border is a nice welcoming gesture to make them feel right at home in their new country.

Your paraphrasing in this case, yes is technically correct, but rather clumsy. Akin to swatting flies with a tennis racket.

Rascal's allegation is his own speculation. "there is no proof" (Rascal) has ZERO corroborative arguments and evidence.

Rascal is a nuisance--not a positive contributor to this topic, IMO. He provides a waste of electrons/effort.
