And both Social Security and Medicare are going broke as do most big government programs. Instead of these broken systems we would have been better off to have put a % of our wages in our own secured savings accounts until we reached 65 and would have been millionaires instead of grubbing for a $1,000 dollar a month barely able to live existence. And just think, our corrupt politicians would not have been able to put their grubby hands in it to siphon off the money.The same goes for Medicare. An individual and family health saving plan would have been better than the lousy, broken Medicare system that we now have. Anything big daddy gets into always fails and you are a failure if you think these systems are so great.

SS, looking back at any program, public or private it is easy to claim it should have been done in a differnt manner.. but it is what it is and one of the worlds best..

Medicare.. a medical saving account is near impossible for those in poverty.. so no, I do not think that would be better..

Back to SS, in a way things are much better now.. anyone who wishes can have a 401 or investment program of some sort.. it is up to them.. When I had my first real job at 18, I wanted to invest and the only way required an input of $10.000 to start.. may as will have been a million.. so I bought into what was still called war bonds.. government bonds. very low return but only choice..

In the various programs in later years, you could do a very small purchase each pay day and in time stock of your choice would be bought.. some restrictions.. maybe only company stock.. no input on which stock to buy.. matching funds at times but not always.. low cost was sometimes kept for those in a program. that was very good.. Stock high in value could be bought at cost of a few years ago..

But in general.. I would like to see the programs improved and become better for the average worker..

Permie, there is absolutely no danger in this person leaving………he has been here since 2013 in many different very colorful characters. In November 2017 Administration shut down all multiple identities. Several members suddenly disappeared. LOL! In a conversation in early 2018 he admitted to have created over 20 different characters between 2013 to 2017. Then during the shutdown in early 2020 he resumed his favorite game when he created “Boy from the Bronx”……….He’s been full throttle since! He is a fantastic story teller, creating these detailed lives complete with family, friends, and careers. No Canadian would be this informed about everything AMERICA, nor would they be this obsessed with an American President. If anyone goes to the User List of Rumi and RR they will realize the style and personalities are the same. I’ve studied Rumi and his many identities for 8 years and in my opinion, RascalRiley is Rumitoid, a man who is now retired from a Christian Radio Station and lives in Alamogordo, NM!……….And like you, does not like or appreciate Trump!
