Each state will have the opportunity for the people to decide upon the laws concerning abortion! That’s what voting is for. Don’t worry…….we Texans will decide what’s best for our state and you and others can help decide for your state! Just like it always should have been!

Your untruthful, fear mongering, exaggerated statements are not helpful!

A tubal pregnancy occurs in the Fallopian tube.
Unlike the womb, the Fallopian tube has no birth canal, it has no umbilical connection or musculature capable of giving birth. A tubal pregnancy can be treated either through medication or surgery, it does not require the services of an abortion doctor.

Surgical procedures to treat a tubal pregnancy are done on an emergency basis if the pregnancy is further along, there’s a risk or evidence of fallopian tube rupture, or there is another medical reason not to take the medication route.

This is usually a laparoscopic surgery done with a tiny surgical device equipped with a camera that is inserted through small incisions in the abdomen. It’s usually performed in a hospital under general anesthesia. Your surgeon will remove the pregnancy while trying to avoid further damage to the fallopian tube, though it’s not always possible to preserve it.

Medical science and technology have advanced to the point where the necessity of abortions to save a mother's life are so rare they defy statistical analyses.

Abortion Facts
Since every abortion kills an innocent human being, it is morally abhorrent to use the rare cases when abortion is necessary to save the life of the mother as justification for the millions of on demand “convenience” abortions.

While he was United States Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop stated publicly that in his thirty-eight years as a pediatric surgeon, he was never aware of a single situation in which a freeborn child’s life had to be taken in order to save the life of the mother. He said the use of this argument to justify abortion in general was a “smoke screen.”

Due to significant medical advances, the danger of pregnancy to the mother has declined considerably since 1967. Yet even at that time Dr. Alan Guttmacher of Planned Parenthood acknowledged:

Today it is possible for almost any patient to be brought through pregnancy alive, unless she suffers from a fatal illness such as cancer or leukemia, and, if so, abortion would be unlikely to prolong, much less save, life.

Dr. Landrum Shettles, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, said, "Less than 1 percent of all abortions are performed to save the mother’s life."

Abortion for the mother’s life and abortion for the mother’s health are usually not the same issue

My sister-in-law was 3 months pregnant when her water broke, she went to the Dr. who told her to go home the baby would naturally abort. a week later she was rushed to the emergency room because the dead fetus had set blood poisoning. She almost died and if she had been in Texas she would have.

No she would not! Why did dr send her home? Abortion as allowed at that time! She could have had a dnc! I also had a spontaneous miscarriage !

Oh yes I do know, she almost died in Huntsville AL. 10 minutes from the hospital. If there had been any questions about why she needed an abortion. Now in Alabama the trigger laws have taken affect so she would have died here also if it were today. She also had a tubal pregnancy that under todays laws in these states would have killed her if she couldn't have gotten to another state 300 to 400 miles away. There's a lot of passion put into these abortion bans but not much forethought.

It’s a d and c! If the baby dead she wasn’t killing it! Get it right

That makes absolutely no sense! It sounds like the Dr. may have made a bad call! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Why would she have died if she was here in Texas? The baby was already dead when she got to the hospital…..being in Texas or Tim-Buck-Two would have made no difference. The fetus would have been extracted and whatever treatment was necessary to save the woman would have been administered!

Your obsessive hate for Texas, or Texist as you referred to it in the past, just cinched the proof that you are indeed Rumi! There were always many indications that lead me to believe it was you, but this can only be you! I don’t know what Texas did to you, but it apparently left a mark! 😂 I remember a few years back that you didn’t post under Rumitoid for about a year while continuing to post under your other characters. I hope you don’t kill him off….OPP wouldn’t be the same without the character Rumi! 👍

That's bullshit, and you know it. An ectopic pregnancy is not listed as an abortion. The operation is a medical procedure to save the life of the mother and the baby cannot survive anyway. Fearmongering is what the marxist socialist progressive liberal communist Democrats are pushing as their propaganda talking point in a futile attempt to win an unwinnable Election. Stop trying to scare women and focus on educating these women to use birth control or self control. Just say no and close your legs. Take precautions and take responsibility. Grow the fuck up!

Septisitus had set in and her origins had started to shut down, if she had to drive to another to get the dead baby aborted she more tha likely would have had organ failure from Blood Poisoning

I do not hate Texas, I've been there more than once and I have no disdain for the State itself what so ever but some of the laws being past out there are nuts. They strike right at the heart of the right to privacy and I got a problem with that. The very thought that I can/should rat out my neighbor because of abortion is off the chain, what are you people thinking???

How dense can you possibly be? 😳 Extracting a deceased baby from the Mother is not an abortion! All hospitals would have done that procedure to save a woman. An abortion is sticking a sharp tool in a baby’s soft spot and sucking their brains out and then pulling them out…….that’s one way!

Let me know when someone “rats” out their neighbor for having an abortion! LOL! Still the drama queen!

Not as dense as you because at the beginning of this thread I posted her Dr. sent her home and didn't do one... How knows just how screwed up the laws will get, it's up to every state now and there's some very messed up state laws out there.

Why don't you check out your laws before you laugh.

That is exactly right. The law doesn't say the mother has to have the baby no matter what. It says the people in that state voted a certain way and majority rules. Emergencies are always an exception to this kind of medically-related law.

Women will die because of this law, if you think otherwise you are fooling yourself.

But I'm sure you don't really care.
