Chinese state media announced on Wednesday that coal production will increase by a whopping 300 million tons in 2022 to “ensure energy supplies,” making a mockery of Beijing’s breezy promises to climate change activists.

Leftists scream we're going to die but all have their hand in the pot for monetary gains. If they were so worried we would boycott " made in " China instead of importing most of the stuff we use every day and start producing our own.

They are manufacturing the junk that today fills your house.
They can no longer burn the hideous tar sands toxic sludge, so I guess it’s Coal.

I have seen the coal fired plants in China ; the ones in your photo look very clean compared to what I have seen in person. You can see the smoke from these plants for 15 miles , thick black smoke that rises up into the clouds

It was Reagan who made the deals with China. Just before all of our jobs left.
This was not a commie democrat plot.
It was Reaganomics pure and simple. Now we are at the end of Reaganomics and Biden is changing back to a Keynesian philosophy economic policy, where everyone can prosper instead of only the Few.
And he gets opppsition from the right every fffing inch of the fffing way.

I hate Beijing... Although it's much cleaner than it used to be. .Chengdu is gorgeous...

Lots of coal plants up where I am... Use it for heat as well as electricity...

Question, Does China gassify the coal in any of the coal plants? Asking because I worked at one here and it was about as clean as a natural gas fired plant and more efficient then traditional coal plants.
