The Hired Hand

A successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was a very good-looking woman and determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand..

Two cowboys applied for the job. One was gay and the other a drunk.

She thought long and hard about it, and when no one else applied she decided to hire the gay guy, figuring it would be safer to have him around the house than the drunk.

He proved to be a hard worker who put in long hours every day and knew a lot about ranching.

For weeks, the two of them worked, and the ranch was doing very well.

Then one day, the rancher's widow said to the hired hand, "You have done a really good job, and the ranch looks great. You should go into town and kick up your heels." The hired hand readily agreed and went into town one Saturday night.

One o'clock came, however, and he didn't return.

Two o'clock and no hired hand.

Finally he returned around two-thirty, and upon entering the room, he found the rancher's widow sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine, waiting for him.

She quietly called him over to her..

"Unbutton my blouse and take it off," she said.

Trembling, he did as she directed. "Now take off my boots."

He did as she asked, ever so slowly. "Now take off my socks."
He removed each gently and placed them neatly by her boots.

"Now take off my skirt."

He slowly unbuttoned it, constantly watching her eyes in the fire light.

"Now take off my bra.." Again, with trembling hands, he did as he was told and dropped it to the floor.

Then she looked at him and said, "If you ever wear my clothes into town again, you're fired."

(P.S. - I didn't see it coming, either)

Only if he was from Houston, Austin, and parts of Dallas. Those are the corrupt cities in TX.

Over 20 years ago In Denver I had trouble with my Sciatic Nerve and sometimes my knees would almost buckle. Both the VA and Blue Cross B/S both said I needed back surgery. Any one I ever knew who had back surgery continued to have back surgery due to the scar tissue. I heard about Prolotherapy and tried it from a sports injury doctor. After checking me she said that back surgery would not help because my right hip joint was loose allowing the Sciatic nerve to be pinched. She gave me prolotherapy therapy treatments for several weeks that amounted to injections in the ligaments/tendons in my right hip joint which took care of the problem for good. This is considered to be alternative treatment so Ins won't pay for it but it worked for me and it was better'n surgery.

Thank you ever so much… I am going to look into this as yet another alternative…Will also consult with a sports injury physician as well.. Ironically my son, an XRay tech for a sports medical group has suggested seeing a Sports medicine Dr. he thinks very highly of so perhaps I will ask him as well.. Can not hurt…
Thank you once again..

My issue is not muscular but disc with impingement…Discectomy did not change it..

The way I understand it is the ligament or tendon gets repaired due to the injections which are kinda painful but for me it beat having back surgery. I probably went every 2 weeks for about 3 months and at that time it costs me about $200.00 per treatment. I am sure that some doctors are better than others but how do you find the best one. I got lucky I guess. I told the VA that this treatment would be better and cheaper and safer than back surgery and not so invasive but that's common sense and the VA is the Govt.
