From the youngest age you were shown and taught hatred by your parents and that same hatred was casually and often repeated in your community, even in the school you attended: what are the chances you will hate in the same way?

The point either overlooked or patently dismissed by gun-advocates is violence-consciousness. They make the world an extremely dangerous place where a gun is needed everywhere one goes. How does this kind of thinking effect "weaker minds"? "Violence by gun is the American way" is the answer. And it can be easily translated by the alienated that society is out to get them with weapons.

This gun-advocacy is a malicious virus infecting our minds. It is a sickness of soul and heart to promote "uninfringed rights" to bear arms. Far worse than being gay or an abortionist, in my eyes, for it corrupts or undermines all appeals to mercy and forgiveness. Genocide and such advocacy go hand-in-hand. It will kill this planet.

The right to bear arms is for our own protection from the government not the criminals or for hunting. When the government wants to take this right away people should think of what the consequences could be. Ask the American Indisn how good it is when the government says they will take care of you.

Every day there's more and more shootings than the usual,If you care to look it up 9 out of ten who are doing the killings are demwit liberals or blacks on blacks which are not reported as much as the liberals that are doing the shootings for what I'm about to say you can call me anything under the sun for what I'm about to say but think before you do about what I'm saying first.

The shootings and killings didn't start till the 2nd admenment"rights to bear arms" was threaten to be deleated from exsistance,by the libertards and I for one think the one's who were doing the killings were all goverment plants

Why do I say this the goverment had to have reason beyound
any thing that people would go like sheep along with this consept to abolish our rights to bear arms. There are other nations who have taken their citizens rights away to have arms who have a very high rate of killings going on in their nations but due to the libertards media you want hear of it as much.

So call me an idiot/stupid or anything eles want change my mind, but please just think it over before you do so.

Implicit to this 'American Way' you refer to is a Fearfulness invading our homeland during these uncertain times that is masked with a pre-emptive war doctrine, a delusion that an 'equalizer' may be a viable solution to a social problem and that retribution and revenge can actually accomplish a tit-for-tat answer for a perceived wrong.

Try reading the Federalist Papers for the more lucid reason for the right to have weapons.

It was to protect you from a tyrannical government by having an armed force (militia) larger than the standing army. Kind of fits into the present situation.

All except for
A)- the 'larger than the standing army' part. and
B)- The novel 'bloodless revolution' laced throughout out our version of Democracy- that changed our young country from all those that had come before us. Apple pie doesn't get more American than that concept.

Laziness of thinking and incipient fearfulness will be our undoing.

Everybody's focused on the original intent of the 2nd Amendment on this thread. I'll refrain from my thoughts on it for now.

I couldn't get passed your opening statement that we're ALL taught hate by our parents. That's where you went wrong. You, nor anyone, can make that assessment with integrity. It's a false premise that is shameful.

It was an illustration, not meant for all but only those who were taught hate from infancy. If you were, the likelihood of hating, as with the likelihood of violence-consciousness in this atmosphere, is high.

Then perhaps your statement should've began with "If".
