We the people need to wake up and realize that political party lines are dividing us more and more each day. This country is changing for the worse right before our eyes and we are letting it happen. Most Americans eyes are wide shut, wake up,get informed, not mis-informed,and lets get back to the days where elected officials went to washington and represented the people, not their own agendas. For the love of god, find common ground and work from there before we lose all our god given right to be free! There are some in this country that are really too ignorant to vote, afterall, they put a tyrant in office twice, even after they saw what kind of man he is,now the whole country has to suffer from their lack of knowledge,or just plain ignorance. What will you do when the hand-outs stop, and they will.

And there are many that think WE are the problem--that we're standing in the way of barackhussein TOTALLY changing our country. There are too many envious people. People who resent anyone having the slightest bit more of anything than they have. They throw out the race card immediately if we criticize them. They don't seem to resent Hollywood actors or athletes making millions, and don't seem to think THEY should share, but anyone who makes it from hard work are targets. We CAN'T cooperate with that kind of ideology. And I don't think they know how to compromise. It's always the conservatives who are supposed to give up our values.

I would have to agree because that's somewhat the same message that I've been promulgating myself (as are others here at the Plaza).

It's not about Dems or Reps, Left or Right, but about Right and Wrong. Both (Dem/Rep) parties have bought into this whole big government/central planning solution to everything and all we have to show for it is massive debt.

Nothing ever gets accomplished but politicians lining their pockets. Forbes named 6 out of the 10 wealthiest counties in the US to be in the DC area. 60%!!! Anybody have a problem with that? Certainly not Progressives. They only care if it's actually someone who has EARNED IT.

However, that aside, we have a whole new problem that has manifested itself in the person of Barack Obama. Now, we've had some pretty Progressive Presidents in the past that have done some very damaging things to this country. Woodrow Wilson, FDR & LBJ to be specific.

In fact, if you were to construct a Progressive Mt. Rushmore, it would look like this L-R: Wilson, FDR, LBJ & Obama. These four guys have inflicted more damage to this country than any foreign enemy ever has. They, along with their administrations and willing accomplices in the Lesgislative and Judicial branches, have inflicted the cancer that is rotting this country inside-out.

I left out Teddy Roosevelt (Father of the Progressivism and the Bull Moose Party) only because you can only have four, and he's already up there on the original, much to my chagrin. I would've put Madison up there. You know, Founding Father and co-author of the US Constitution. Heck, I would rather've put George Mason, John Jay, John Adams, Samuel Adams or even Calvin Coolidge up there. Yes, Calvin Coolidge. Fiscally, he's one of the greatest presidents we've ever had. He's the last president that actually cut taxes AND spending significantly. So much so, that it produced...say it with me...The Roaring Twenties!

Back to Obama...This guy (and his administration) has taken Marxism, lawlessness and attacks on the Constitution and our rights to a whole new level. He divides everyone into groups and pits them against each other. Rich against Poor, Black against White (make that, EVERYONE against white) Men against Women, Gays against Straights, Pro Choice against Pro Life, Pro Gun (2nd Amnd) against Anti Gun, and on, and on, and on. DIVIDE and CONQUER.

It's what Marxists do to gain power. It's in the playbook. All Socialist/Communist/Fascist dictators do it. Pick a target, isolate it, personalize it and polarize it. Rule #12 of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Obama likes to take just one more step and destroy it.

And nobody (save a few of us that pay any attention) cares!!! The country, on the whole, seems to be so apathetic about their civic duty of being informed (and not surfacely, but have a real grasp of the issues) that the country will literally burn down around them and they won't even notice because they're too busy playing Candy Crush or posting on FB.

And a large portion of the ones that do, get brainwashed by whichever side they're on and just spew regurgitated talking points. Not too many free-thinkers out there.

If you pick up anything, get this. Progressivism is the cancer killing this country. And Progressivism has eaten up both of our main political parties. Slightly less on the right, but only slightly.

Ok, here I go again preaching. I'll stop here.

Yeah I hope so too. The problem is they actually think they're right. I pity these people as not to have a thought of they're own, all theey can do is repeat Obama good, GOP bad. Even sqeeker Carnie can't keep all the lies straight anymore. Its only going to get worse as we replace books like "animal farm" and "1984"books that kept us ever vigilant against suppression, I remember the first time reading them and thinking it could never happen, now it has. I don't believe they will wake up until its too late, for them. For crying out loud Napolian is walking people. Good luck

The politicians have become the 1%, the rest of us are the 99%. It's way past time for people to get together (both parties) and cut this 1% off in the pass (elections). But, alas - if we don't start at home (city, county, state) we will be spinning our wheels. Learn to find common ground with your neighbors and build from there.

I am going to "Congress on the corner" tomorrow.Mr.John Barrow will be there,he will here my voice tomorrow, rest assure of that.He responded to one of my emails letting me know he voted to make Barack Obama follow the laws of the land.Really, you gotta have laws to make someone do what they swore to do already, thats not acceptable to me,and probably you either. For the love of my country,he will give me straight answers, not beat around the bush,or he will be called out,on the spot.

All I am looking for is for GE, Exxon, Koch Industries, Walmart, to pay the same tax rate I do. I don't get corporate welfare I don't get subsidies, I can't take my earnings and move it to off shore accounts. I can't get my weekly check in stock option's and then move it to dividends income and pay no taxes. I just want everybody to pay the same % as I do.

Some pay MORE than you--how should that be treated? Walmart CERTAINLY employs more than you--shouldn't THAT be considered? How about a Flat Tax--is that "Fair"? You can't compare apples to oranges.

How about having all the government workers who owe a total of 3.3 BILLION DOLLARS pay their back taxes PLUS PENALTIES. Half of them are probably in Congress.
