If a country has enacted stricter gun laws and the following year gun deaths (per 100,000) goes from .1 to .2 the NRA will scream that the gun death rate has doubled.
If a state enacts a guns everywhere policy and the rate drops from 10 to 8 they will gloat about a 20% reduction.
Guess what, Bozo, the "we love our guns" place would have a death rate 40 TIMES AS GREAT as the place with gun restrictions.
Go look up the gun death rates for Japan. Then go look up the gun death rates for El Salvador.
Then explain to me why President Obama is wrong to want us to be more like Japan and less like El Salvador.
I support President Obama on this one.

What, no snappy comeback? You have literally accused inanimate hardware and it's manufacturer by association, of purposeful, conscious murder.
Please let us all know when the trial is televised. We don't want to miss the testimony of the accused. Will he put his little lever on the Bible to be sworn in? And if found guilty will the death sentence be carried out by firing squad? Seems appropriate.

I was on my high school rifle team and my college pistol team. Don't suppose there are too many of them today when making your fingers into a "gun" or chewing a pop tart into the shape of a gun can get you expelled - or worse!

What specifically are those restrictions and bans and laws that will prevent shootings? Because nothing Obama, any Democrat or any other anti-gun zealot has so far said has clearly stated the cause and effect solution in unequivocal terms.
