Tolerance

"I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against
another mosque being built in LA . I think it should be the goal of every
American to be tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs. Thus the mosque
should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.

That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque
thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque. We could call one of the
clubs, which would be gay, "The Turban Cowboy," and the other a topless bar
called "You Mecca Me Hot."

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an
open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called "Iraq o' Ribs."

Across the street there could be a lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing
Secret," with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.

Next door to the lingerie shop there would be room for an adult sex toy shop,
"Koranal Knowledge," its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a
liquor store called "Morehammered."

All of this would encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us, so
their mosque issue would not be a problem for others."

Yes we should promote tolerance, and you can do your part.

Sad to say, but it often seems like "tolerance" is only for those who have no power. When a group achieves power, eg some religious groups, political groups, perhaps angry people, dictation, force, oppression and, definitely, "in-tolerance become the order of the day. Often "muslim" is the prime example. In this country and many other free countries they cry for and demand tolerance. In countries run my them, there is no such thing. They demand to be able to display their religious symbols, but just see if other religious symbols are allowed in public in "their" countries. Not happening.

That sounds like a good plan, and while you are at it, why not put porn shops right next to every church in town?

Many religious and pious people are sexually repressed and would welcome the opportunity to browse and purchase "marital aids" and feel safe while doing it.

Also, gay and lesbian nightclubs and social centers should be established so that all of the gay closeted christians can come out and be welcomed.

Hamburger and steak houses should be right next ot every catholic church, with specials on beef, pork and lamb every Friday, without restriction or exception.

Atheists and Satanists should build their meeting halls adjacent to every church and put up huge billboards promoting their views.


Indeed, tolerance is such a good idea so glad you thought of it.
