Confession is another staple of the Catholic church and a pretty good money maker! Buddy Hackett was Jewish and he said that if he couldn't be Jewish he would like to be Catholic. That way he could do something terrible, go confess, throw 5 bucks in the poor box and he didn't do it!
The Spanish Conquistadors were mostly criminals released from jail to go to the New World and bring back gold for the King. That is why they killed everything that was in their way! Then the Catholic Church decided that the heathens that were left should be taught religion to save their souls and on and on. BTW, South American people are not Spanish, the Spanish influence gave them a recognizable language and a sort of reliance on the Church to wipe away their sins, the same as the Italians, also there is a large Italian influence in Argentina.

U.S. Frees 36,007 Illegal Aliens With Serious Criminal Convictions

Besides implementing a flagrant amnesty plan that defies Congress and the rule of law, the Obama administration freed tens of thousands of illegal immigrants convicted of violent and serious crimes last year, according to the government’s own records.

Let’s take a look at the breakdown of crimes committed by this latest batch of freed illegal aliens. The records show that more than 16,000 were convicted of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Over 9,000 had dangerous drug convictions, 1,075 were convicted of aggravated assault, 426 of sexual assault and 193 of homicide. Additionally, the records show that 1,160 of the freed illegal immigrants had stolen vehicle convictions, 303 kidnapping convictions and 303 flight escape convictions.

Thousands of others were convicted of lesser crimes that are nevertheless serious enough to merit detention if you’re already in the country illegally. Those offenses include extortion, embezzlement, arson, domestic violence, property crimes, larceny, burglary, intimidation, obstructing police, weapon offenses, forgery, obstructing the judiciary and a variety of fraud. Those who take the time to read the entire list may find it difficult to imagine that the government would even consider freeing these offenders.

Incredibly, it’s not the first time this happens. The feds previously released 68,000 different criminal aliens encountered by ICE officers in jails that were let go instead of processed for deportation, according to records obtained by CIS. This latest batch of 36,007 is a group of aliens who were being processed for removal and were freed while awaiting the final disposition of their cases. Despite their serious criminal convictions, they were released by means of bond, order of recognizance, order of supervision, parole or alternative detention such as an ankle bracelet.

This is hardly the first time that the government rewards illegal immigrants with serious criminal records. Last summer Judicial Watch reported that legislation crafted by the bipartisan Gang of Eight in the U.S. Senate would grant amnesty to illegal aliens with drunk-driving, domestic violence, aggravated assault and child abuse convictions. In its report JW noted that groups that would normally be vocal on these sorts of issues remained silent.

In 2013, over 100 convicted murderers were turned free within the U.S. instead of being deported. Also over 700 convicted sex offenders, 400+ sexual assaulters, over 15,000 DUI convictions, almost 800 robbers, 1,000 convicted of aggravated assault and over 200 kidnappers.

These are not illegal aliens accused of these offenses. These are actual convictions. But instead of being held for deportation, they were turned loose, over 36-thousand. That’s on top of 68-thousand more who were in custody but also not deported.

These are numbers the White House wanted kept quiet—and you can see why. Because immigration laws aren’t enforced, it not only costs some Americans their jobs; it can cost others their very lives.

So how did he arrive at his premise? That trinity is straight off of a dollar bill. A bit telling? Just coincidence? I think not.

The polarity that is America today, in an ultra-conservative season not seen since the McCarthy Era, dismisses 'in union there is strength' out of hand. A radical conservative involved in the enshrinement of this me-the-people regression is instructing us on this matter???

'Liberty' (and freedom) are turned into a feel-good aphorism and somehow linked to this brand of unpatriotic patriotism. Please define 'freedom' in your lexicon.
'In God we trust' is part of dismissing separation of church and state by the evangelicals who put belief over experience and faith above logic it seems.
From there he takes the big non sequitor leap and mysteriously links his drama to 'Small government is better'. How did he get there? Well the crowd roared... BTW, Obama's government is smaller than his predecessor's- in case you had forgotten- so you would have to say he is closer to fulfilling the Neo con dream apparently.
Canonizing the young Palin in-law was pretty bold, logically speaking too- but the mob howled its blind approval. Imagine this poster child as an American ambassador.

I'll offer an observation/conclusion I came to after living in a fairly high crime area for a while. The stealing was almost like an accepted culture thing. When I complained to the neighbors about our bicycle being stolen it was kind of like, no big deal just steal someone else's. The funny thing was , because my wife was a much more savvy city person than I , she had her bike chained to the fence where mine was next to it unlocked. Bear in mind these were matching bicycles. They cut the chain and stole hers and left mine there.
