MAN SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT STILL SAVES DAY

Police in California say they are looking for several suspects in a home invasion after a 22-year-old victim grabbed a gun and engaged in a gunfight to protect his younger siblings who also were in the house.

He succeeded in killing one of apparently four men who crashed in the front door, and wounding another, and police have on video the license plate number for the van in which two suspects apparently delivered their injured comrade to a hospital.
The dead attacker’s body was found at the home.

Acting Sheriff Mike Boudreaux told KFSN Television that there were four siblings in the home – their parents, farm workers, already had left for work before the 5:30 a.m. attack.
He said a 22-year-old “became aware of the robbery or potential intruders when the front door of the home was breached.”
He grabbed a gun from a safe “to protect himself and three siblings,” ages 3, 11 and 18, authorities said.“He was fighting for his life,” the sheriff said.

A gun battle inside the home left the 22-year-old, whose name was not immediately released, with multiple gunshot wounds and he was hospitalized and expected to recover. His siblings were uninjured, authorities said.

According to a report in the Fresno Bee, the attack happened near Orosi in Tulare County. The injured invader was delivered to Keweah Delta Medical Center, but no details were available immediately.

But authorities said neighbors were warned about the situation, and the children in the home at the time were moved to another location.

The Visalia Times reported Boudreaux was concerned.
“It’s scary,” he said. “We are confident there is at least someone else connected to this incident still out there.”
He noted there was no marijuana being grown at the home, because several home invasions in recent years appear to have been linked to large growing operations.

At the Bearing Arms blog, commentator Bob Owens wrote, “I don’t think that the oldest sibling in this incident could have handled the shocking situation that confronted him much better than he did. He reacted … by arming himself and protecting his siblings. I don’t think it a stretch at all to think that he very likely kept this situation from becoming another home invasion massacre.”

Praise God. I just read about this a few minutes ago from one of my private sources. Fantastic. I am thankful for this quick thinking brave young man who took action and saved his siblings. I pray he will recover quickly. I hope police catch the rest of the bad guys and put them away a long time for attempted premeditated murder. Who knows. They may have even done this before and killed others.

I hope and pray for that brave young man. His siblings owe their lives to him. Another armed citizen to the rescue, saving their family from thugs. It is great when evil does not win out, even in the short haul.

Yes, Scarlet O-Airhead, let's make this nation an NRA-gun manufacturers utopia where the slogan from the gun makers is "BUY OUR PRODUCT TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM OUR OTHER CUSTOMERS".

USA, USA!!!! We're #1 in gun ownership and #1 in incarceration! All the other countries wish they were just like us.....

Yes, let's take our cues from the old confederacy states like Georgia, and have a guns everywhere policy. What could possibly go wrong?

Brian

How brain dead can you be?

This guy used a legally purchased weapon, keep securely locked up.

The intruders, almost certainly, used illegal weapons. Most of all they were in no way a "customer" of ANY gun manufacturer.

What do you have against honest citizens defending themselves?

You are the real AIRHEAD with your stupid comments.

Are you sure? Jellyfish have no brains, true, but they do still have nervous systems.

Brian wants to be Obamas mini me. He is not completely incompetent or an idiot. He craves attention. If we could only triangulate his position and find his location, I can arrange an exorcism for this poor misguided youth. I reach out to all of you across this nation. Please help find Brian.

What's your choice for best exorcism method? I prefer either a Flit gun or a Round-Up sprayer loaded with high-strength Malathion.

The super strength malathion should be adequate. Because I am beginning to believe that instead of a jellyfish, he may very well be a mutated roach.

This brings memories on another California home invasion.
A home in Stockton Calif. was invaded and a gun stolen from the home. The next night the two men that had stolen the gun in Stockto knocked on a door in Danville and the woman of the home answered the door.
The two men barged into the home with the gun stolen from the night before and the woman screamed.
The husband up stairs heard the commotion grabbed his gun jumped out into the hall at the top of the stair and fired, killing one of the invaders.
His partner shot the homeowner killing him. The home owner would still be alive if he hadn't tried to be John Wayne

Do you charge for hindsight fortune telling or was that a freebie? How could you possibly know that the invader with the stolen gun wasn't planning on killing everyone in the home? Do you really think he went in there brandishing a firearm if he wasn't prepared to use it?

The husband lost his life in the protection of his family and home and saved the life of his wife by doing so. Got it? He saved his wife's life by acting as he did. He was a hero, and you're libelous.
