The President has to give a report from time to time to Congress on the state of the union. It can be written and there is no set time when it has to be done. At this point Biden thinks a press conference is a discussion on who is going to iron his shirts.

full, I think you have a lot of nerve complaining about Biden's lack of press conferences. Trump rarely had a press conference, and when he did, he refused to answer many important questions, he blasted the individual members of the press present for asking legitimate and important questions he was uncomfortable with. He was completely AWOL for the last couple of months playing golf in Florida. He constantly lied during the few press conferences he did have.
