COUPLE DAYS AGO IN MY RUSH TO KEEP UP with the usual overwhelming social calendar of all retires, and using one of those old style double edge razor blades, I failed to notice that I had not snugged the blade.. 2 quick swipes and the blood dripped off my chin.. I look like I was run over by a snowmobile.. Now I have the rugged and desired look of the guy from under any bridge.. Gramma loves it...

Hey you found my old couch. I see you have no gray hairs. Amazing for a retired guy.

Now that you bring it up, Doc, you're right. He is.

I hadn't noticed before.

That is a lot of body hair. Even more than I have, but not by much.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a 'fuzzy-wuzzy' bear myself.

Unfortunately the only place I am lacking hair is on my head. The males on my mother's side tended to be blondish and bald. On my Father's side they tended to have full black hair, only they tended to die young, diabetes and heart disease. I take after my Mom's side and have lived longer than my Dad and most of his brothers. I believe I would rather be bald and live longer, although when I was younger I did not feel that way.

I enjoy them all very much. I share several w/ my 85 year old Mother because she gets a kick out of them too. When I showed her the bear on the couch, she insisted that I help her email it to her sister in Virginia, which we did. Please keep 'em comin' Permafrost. They are very much appreciated over here, even though I don't always comment on them. Still can't get over the Osprey. I hope all is well with Vivian and all the rest of yours.

Love the picture as usual. How are you doing with the brass monkey warnings there in Minnesota?

You look rather dignified on your sofa. It looks like you had to sit it out and bare with the hard times. Good job, permafrost.
