Our grocery clerks are part of our frontline, with little recognition, and deserve to be first to get the vaccine

Every trip we all make to the supermarket we should thank them for their service to help maintain a degree of normalcy. But think about it: without them our lives would be far more miserable. Starvation is on the list. And far more inconvenience. They are as at risk as of medical staff. We take them for granted, just background to the usual way of our life. It is hard to realize how much we should appreciate them. Just basic clerks. Stockers, cashiers, baggers, butchers, and cleanup. Life-savers? They are!
