It sounds like what he was talking about will apply to future elections. Having said that, I still believe that there are pieces in place for Trump to remain President come January 20. The fraud we saw in this election was anticipated. What you are seeing now is for the benefit of the American Public, so they become aware of the need for future election reforms. I think we are in for a rock road ahead as this stuff works itself out.

Sure.............................using compromised computer equipment.
Absentee ballots are on paper, so requiring voting machines to generate a paper ballot ( like in fairly recent history ) to be counted, obviates the need for computer security, which is non existent anyway.In 2012, my State (a red State), used new touch screen voting machines that printed a paper ballot that was scanned then sent to the Sec. of States mainframe for tabulation. I had questions about my ballot so asked to see my paper copy, which must, by law, be kept at the county election office...........................they couldn't "find" it................or any other copies.
In 2016, we got new voting machines that printed paper copies, but kept the copies in the machine and transferred the results directly to the Sec. of States mainframe. I again asked to see a copy of my ballot, which was on a roll and supposed to be kept at the county election office........................but they again couldn't find it.
In 2020 we got new voting machines that did not make a paper copy, but sent results to the Sec. of States mainframe in real time, and there was nothing kept at the county election office.
My State spent 18 million dollars every 4 years on new voting machines....................and every incarnation made election security much less likely.
My point? The most obvious way to ensure voting security, is to stop buying new %@#$ machines.

Machines are too easy to manuplipate. We need national ID with chip, renewed as driver license. They are already set up for photo I D bring your proof and get either license or I D. You can mark chip where and when you voted
Takes somewhat longer to count but is accurate. So simple why has congress not passed this?
