The acorn didn't fall far from the tree, it seems.

Is your alter ego BaD Bob ?????? He says crazy things and when he is called on them he demands that the asker look up proof of what he said. That you and he see nothing wrong with that says a lot about you Liberals and why nobody listens to you.

We often say look it up because we know that you and your fellow travelers don't find our sources acceptable. I have been back for a week, perhaps, and have seen several complaints for Yahoo specifically, I would guess that Yahoo was chosen because it is not a liberal outlet. It still isn't good enough because it isn't a spoof source of info.

Let's really tell why the democrats want your guns. If you look at any uprising against a current government that has been successful the fist thing they do is un arm the public. Omce they are unnamed it is easier to take over. That is the real reason they want your weapons.

I am not a Dem, however, I think people want irresponsible people to lose the privilege of owning anything beyond those weapons guaranteed by the US Constitution is because... well, Rhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5AvEmFPq1g

Well yeah, the society does. Your rights end at the tip of your threats to any person's nose.
Society monitors use of cars, society takes the privilege to operate a vehicle away when someone is irresponsible. It then becomes criminal to continue that activity.
The same goes for insisting on using weapons, any weapons, to threaten others with harm. It is illegal to endanger others. It is immoral to put other people in fear.
Don't you understand that?

I wasn't aware that cars were covered under the second amendment.

I wasn't aware that you were quite that freaking stupid or unable to follow a series of posts.
I was repeating the language of the person I was responding to, you see?
Please TRY to keep up.

That's not evidence. It's an opinion. And what you jokingly call the free press is controlled by those hostile to liberty and free speech. Unless you can provide the actual video of Trump saying these things, there can be no further discussion. If you can't, then I'll graciously accept your unconditional surrender.

What are opinions based on?

Who are we to decide what someone needs? Who needs a 10 round magazine? Who needs a semi-automatic? Who needs a fast car? I liked the 30 round magazines for target practice. Convenience. Some friends of mine used them for critter hunting. They had livestock and a foot in a groundhog hole could break a leg. There are many uses.

That's a great question.
Who are you to decide when a woman needs birth control or an abortion?

She doesn't have to come for your guns. She can make it more and more expensive and onerous to have one. It will have the same effect in the long run. The gun grabbers aren't stupid - well they are but not when it comes to trying to achieve their end goal.

People often do look stupid to us when they are trying to do one thing and we think they are trying to do another.
I don't think we agree on what their end goal is... You think they are trying to disarm us, for whatever reason. I think they are trying to make our country safer for its citizens.

Cars weren't invented yet... nor was the AR-15.

Absolutely... Kyle Rittenhouse is the type of person who should never have a gun. I've been through this argument a million times... people always point out that he was being chased... On several occasions... They refuse to consider the obvious deduction, that he was antagonizing people and that's WHY he was being chased. I would not be surprised if he did all that just so he COULD shoot someone. He's probably psychopathic.

Guns are just too easy. They turn weaklings with flies in their heads into killing machines. One look at Rittenhouse and you know he wouldn't stand a chance with anything less than an assault rife. If he couldn't get one, he probably would have stayed home and played video games.

The danger here is the potential for government control over who happens to be psychopathic. This is why I prefer the limits that focus on the weapons themselves, rather than the people. I'm sorry but if someone needs a 30 round clip for target practice, that just means they're lazy ...and that they don't care about all the innocent people killed by the 10th to the 30th bullet in a clip handled by a psychopath.

I have said before I don't want government involved. I don't want taxpayer money going to abortion (and money gets there) or private hospitals forced to do them. It doesn't change that doing for convenience is morally abhorrent.

Satisfied? There is no constitutional right to kill an unborn child anyway.

You're making a judgement based on emotion rather than reason. Such as "who wouldn't want to save lives by limiting magazine capacity". The truth is only a small fraction of those are used in gun deaths. The majority of those who have them never kill anyone. And millions have them.

As for it being lazy to have a 30 round magazine - not clip - for target practice being "lazy", that's an ignorant statement on your part.

If you carry a gun, this causes a whole mindshift as to your life in this planet.
I was riding horses and hearing gunfire while I was still in my mother's womb. When I came out, the first thing I smelled was horse shit and gun smoke.

IOW, I didn't undergo some sort of mysterious mindshift, I was born into a world where guns are in the inventory of necessary tools. There is nothing unhuman or shifty in acquiring the necessary tools one needs to survive in a dangerous world; there is nothing immoral in learning to use them.

Carrying a gun is an American thing. Something you simply cannot fathom.
