Personally, I don't see it as my obligation to provide the same economic status to a person who sleeps till noon every day, wakes and bakes, then sits on ass while I drag my ass out of bed at five, and put in a grueling 12-14 hours so I can have what I have.
How about educational equality? Just give everyone the same grade no matter how hard they work, or don't.
Most of us don't see any reason to own, or use a lot of things, but those like me aren't going to tell you you can't because we don't like it. If you enjoy it, whatever it is, be it a gun, or a huge glass bong, as long as you're not harming anyone with it, have at it.
