I come from eastern European Jewish immigrants and there are stories in the family about children growing up in a big hurry during the Third Reich -- including products of collaborators' families.
Domesticated, certain spoiled little pansies who grew up sheltered by the liberty here in America would doubtless have no conception of such things.
Personally, I've worked, in the course of my security career, in countries where children are forced to live with -- and often participate in, horrors that your ilk couldn't even conceive yet to them are everyday, run-of-the-mill facets of their existence, nothing unusual.
