Elected officials don't have a say on what the president decides!
All they can do is try to convince the voters that they know who will
meet the demands of the voters.

Well one thing for sure trump is using Nixon playbook from 1968 to try win election. If he does win reelection on the same bs as nixion won own .and trump is brought up own impeachment charges again, which he probably will be and it may not be democrates that do it. Any way the republicans want protect him again because the elections will be over and they want being worrying about the threats from trump.

Why don't our elected officals have a say on what the president decides we don't have a dictorship yet.But it could very well be coming.

Hopefully they’ll deport you back to what ever crappy country you’re from.

I have my own analysis of GOP defectors.
Funny how most of them were fired by Trump.

Nothing nastier then a scorned woman or a fired employee.

Really NOTHING NEW here! There were many so-called Republicans that did not vote for or support Trump in 2016! Up until Trump came on the scene there was always a fraction of the Republican party that was quite content to draw their Congressional or Government paychecks and just be part of the "Go-Along to Get-Along" party! They really didn't have any particular passion for conservative ideals, its party or platform! It was more about maintaining appearances and traditions & Trump turned that all upside-down!
That is the VERY REASON that so many Republican Congressmen resigned before the 2018 mid-terms which was the main reason we lost the HOUSE! They never liked or supported Trump & had NO FAITH that he would ever serve for 4 years!
Mitt Romney is the poster boy for that type of Republican! He looks the part, talks the party-line
