That's mostly because New York has declared WAR on its citizens and they got as many sick as possible ON PURPOSE.

It's not the fault of the people breaking the social distancing guidelines...

The protests are bound to increase new cases.

HEALTHCORONAVIRUS

Will the protests be super-spreader events for the coronavirus?
Experts say it’s too soon to tell

Public-health officials have been intently focused on how to re-open the U.S. economy after months-long lockdowns put in place to contain the coronavirus.

But none of them banked on having to contend with widespread social upheaval caused by the death of George Floyd, which has brought tens of thousands of people into the streets and into close contact in cities across the country to protest police violence.

The demonstrations are a new challenge to health officials’ still-early efforts to test and trace new infections, a key step to swatting down new clusters of cases. And scientists aren't of one mind on the question of how well the virus could spread in protests, which are taking place in open air, with many—but not all—participants wearing masks.

Exactly...

So where do you think all of the protests are?

Really?

I know he held a job for part of one year...

And had drugs on his system and on his person while he passed off a counterfeit bill...

That sounds like he was on the right path

All of the states with the rise in cases except 2 are red states.

Well, since Idaho opened, it has been flooded by blue Oregon and Washington license plates, folks coming from places where they can’t eat out, go to the barber shop or go visit parks. So it is only logical that those visitors will bring the virus in with them.

You make a lot of assumptions that have not been mentioned in your lust to continually vilify him.

Yea.....he moved up to counterfeiting instead of aggravated assaults of pregnant women, and dope dealing.

I can see how your warped mind would see that as an improvement, it is not.....he was, and is still just another uncivilized thug added to what fails the black community, and the superior white community.

WTF is wrong with you? considering he was probably caught less than 3% of the time for his crimes.....did they teach you math on the plantation you claim to live on?

For a black democrat........that is the right path, and with the push to change the criminal system ( short for not arresting or convicting blacks of their crimes)

Democrats and their base = criminality in the open.

No wonder the virus is spreading. You have the BLM group, Antifa people out in the streets, coughing, hacking, screaming, not social distancing and then they go to George Floyd's funeral by the hundreds and don't practice safe community health protocols. Where are the big time epidemiologists, left wing mayors, left wing governors calling these protesters, rioters and funeral goers out for not practicing everything they have been preaching for 4 months? All these whack job, shut the economy down types are left wing hypocrites.

This story explains why a peaceful encounter with police suddenly turned to murder. Floyd had words with Chauvin before about his treatment of minorities
George Floyd and Derek Chauvin "bumped heads" while working at nightclub, former coworker says

Neither I an assumption...

Both are common knowledge...

His work history has been explained...

As has his drug use...

Why do you ignore it?

It's not racist...

I have loser criminals in my family... A whole clan on my dad's side... A few distant cousins on my mom's... Although my mom was arrested as a teenager for dealing meth and did a year in prison... Set her straight... Changed her life...

Capital murder is a murder charge in which the accused is eligible for the death penalty (not the case here) but I think I know what you were referring to - the upgrade to the 2nd degree murder charge. And you are right - it is harder to prove/convict. They have their asses covered though w/ 2nd and 3rd degree charges and manslaughter. He may get off light, but he won't skate. At the least, he will plea down to manslaughter. Possibly even involuntary manslaughter. At least that's my take, but I'm no lawyer. The shit's gonna hit the fan big time out in the streets if he does get off.
