House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) this week signaled that Democrats are going to push for more expanded mail-in voting by referring to it now as “voting at home.” Democracy

“We’re now calling it voting at home because that’s really what it’s all about—enabling people to vote at home,” Pelosi told MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell.

Pelosi said the $3.6 billion in the House’s HEROES Act is “necessary to conduct an election” where all voters would receive absentee ballots.

The House Speaker also reportedly said this week $3.6 billion is just “a small price to pay for our democracy and the good health of people going to the polls” and argued that if Republicans “don’t support the resources, then they have stood in the way of voting, which is in keeping with their voter suppression in general.”

She reportedly added that voting is “under assault both from a systematic national, nationwide campaign of voter suppression and from the coronavirus.”

“People should not have to choose between voting and preserving their good health and that of their families,” Pelosi reportedly added

The House Speaker has also said that more funds are needed for same-day registration services and to provide more and safer opportunities for voters to also “vote well in advance of Election Day.”

If this is put into effect a few million extra ballots will be printed and end up in pockets of less then ethical
people and all the names with a D after them will put into the count, trunk loads of ballots will show up days after the count and be added in. Kiss freedom good-by. Nancy P will have her gavel gold plated.

The states with vote by mail have no greater issues of voter fraud than those that limit it. What they do have is greater voter participation and this is what republicans desperately want to avoid.

You turn your eyes away from the truth. 8 congress members got voted our with 3 days later ballots showing up in a van that went to 30 nursing homes filled with senile old folks and your Klan members got these people to scribble their names on the line and then THEY filled in the ballot, that is what you call OK.

You are not an AMERICA.

Can you ask someone to proof read that for you? It makes no sense.

I doubt if Jesus would send Trump anyplace but hell. He has lots of experience with hell, after doing everything passible to create hell right here in America!

Well, I have little doubt that you will find out about hell soon.

If it were a democracy, the US would be led by President Clinton.
If there were massive voter fraud, why did Trump's panel looking into the 'massive' voter fraud disband itself for lack of anything to do?
If mail in voter fraud is a big problem, it isn't just a Democratic issue: https://www.newsobserver.com/news/politics-government/article233308957.html

In the real world, election fraud is a larger problem for American democracy than voter fraud.

It wasn't just the Dem states that had an issue.
I thought the data was already out there...how else could you be so sure voter fraud is massive. Unless...unless the accusation is made without data to support it. Hmmm.....

Just a personal opinion but there is nothing wrong with people showing up in person to vote. I myself know that once when I voted my vote was not counted because when I looked at the numbers reported, not by percentage, in the election there wasn't one vote for the person I had voted for. I don't trust either way. I also know because I once voted in a precinct where a write-in candidate was elected. By mail vote you disenfranchise a write-in vote candidate. The write-in candidate won because people in his own party did not want the party nominated person. If I recall correctly the write-in candidate was chosen by the people after the primary because they disliked the primary winner so much. To me that is how it should work. I am for letting anyone who wants on the ballot to pay their money and be on the ballot

Gee, I wonder why there are 1,000,000 more registered voters than people in California? This applies to many other states.

It makes absolute sense to me! Perhaps you should remove your leftist lenses before you read it again for more understanding!
