And therein lies the problem. The Left thinks that they are not lying-just because some words are mixed up or some part of an answer is left out-recall the Barr interview where an entire explanation was left out just a few days or a week ago? Anyway, both sides are very good at cherrypicking what they remember politicians who lie regularly-I think it is their native language-they are tested on it before they can run for office-say. Or they only listen to half of a statement and already make up their minds-Left and Right are very good at that-it is almost an art form. So, when you ask about honest opinion from either, you are likely to get biased opinion, though perhaps that is most honest there is.
I cannot imagine anyone being arrogant enough to think they would/could have handled it better, worse, faster, easier, whatever, since in my lifetime,(and I am well into my 70's) we have never seen such a pandemic. To say one or another would handle it "better" is ludicrous, because it is not over, and we do not know what is better or worse, or whatever. I think Joe Biden could not handle a decision about going outside without his wife or some other caregiver with him-more is the pity, since I think he honestly thinks he should be president of the US. I don't think he would have handled it at all, but left it to his minions. Isn't that what the elites do-and then step in to take credit if it works out, but blame their advisors if it does not. The oval office is the only place where the buck stops.
