The Spirit Realm

Introduction:
These are the words of life!
Real victory and success in your Christian life depends upon what you can’t see!
This edition is about the spirit realm of angels, demons and the workings of spiritual forces in the world, the flesh or sin nature and the demonic, as they relate to today.
These were prophesied thousands of years ago for our information, and edification.
Beware, many will be caught unawares and will fall victim to devastating things they can’t even see. On the other hand, many will be set free from the clutches of these forces, and many will be well aware of the dangers, and take action, before they can even strike.
There is much fear around, but there is great excitement. Don’t let fear bring you down. There is a biblical principle: “What you greatly fear will come upon you.” (Job 3:25)
Fear can also let in the occult – especially good sounding occult practices. Don’t go there!
Fear makes you weak. Knowledge prepares you for battle. It gives you awareness of what you need for the battle and to stand strong.
In times of spiritual darkness, the Bible instructs the church to “give heed to prophecy.” (2 Peter 1:18-19) If you don’t you are in trouble. In this verse, prophecy is compared to a light shining in a dark place.
The Bible talks of progressing darkness: “Darkness, gross darkness, and increasing darkness.” In the dark you stumble, stagger, slip and slide. The answer is “giving heed to Bible prophecy”!
More real than real:
The spirit realm is more real than the physical, natural realm, and what you can see with your eyes. Our Lord spoke of this numerous times. (2 Corinthians 4:18, Romans 8:24)
The invisible Spirit of the living God is being poured out on all flesh right now, and will soon include a special outpouring on Israel. (Zechariah 12:10 Joel 2:28-29, Acts 2:1-4)
The great satanic outpouring of forces is found right here:
Revelation 12:12 “Rejoice O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows he has a short time.”
So, we see here that there will be, and is already, a great outpouring of the Spirit of God in the awakening revival bringing salvation to untold masses, and also an outpouring of the spirit of Satan, antichrist, sin and evil.
“If you are not born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God.”
(John 3:3) You can legitimately extend that and say that neither can you see the kingdom of darkness, or the mystery of sin.
John 6:63 “It the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you, they are spirit and life.”
What an incredible thing! This verse above says that the words of God are not really words, as such. This includes the words of the Bible. They are actually spirit and true life. How amazing is that?
When you open your Bible, it can be stone dead or it can be full of supernatural life springing up. The Spirit gives life. No Spirit – no life!
The word of God in your mouth can be dead, or tingling with life, dripping off your tongue. Some people are hanging above hell by a thread of the word in their mouth. Their confession will take them down or a long way higher!
The world, a cage of wild demonic “birds”
Revelation 18:2 “He cried with a mighty loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the Great is fallen is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean hated bird.”
The verse above refers to Babylon the Great, which is a reference to the end-time world system. It “is fallen, is fallen” refers to its original fall and its end time fall. But note that the characteristic of the end time world is spiritual and full of demons, and foul spirits.
All the troubles of the world are in fact a result of a war in the spirit realm.
In times of trouble, man needs to save man, so he finds the best man and still fails, because he is blind to the mega spiritual forces in play. If you can’t see the forces you can’t deal with them.
Then you will be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine or every opinion of man, or every conspiracy theory, lie and error.
This is why we are to “love not the world” and “come out and be separate.”
Behind the veil:
As spiritual sight increases, we emerge from the veil, with new eyes, things become new, beautiful, holy and true. Demons give way to dancers, dancing a new dance of glory.
If you could have the invisible veil pulled open, you would see incredible things:
2 Kings 6:16-17 “Do not fear for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. And Elisha prayed and said, ‘Lord I pray, open his eyes that he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
Psalm 68:17 “The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them as in the Sinai, in the Holy Place.”
Zechariah 6:1 “Then I looked and behold four chariots were coming from between the two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze (symbol of judgement).
There is a huge battle on the go even now in the spirit realm. The battle in the spirit also manifests in the battle for truth against all error and deception, which is also intensifying.
The forces all around us are both angelic and demonic. Your life is under the influence of either and sometimes both together if you are unstable.
The huge positive potential in you is noted by the demonic realm causing them to attack you, but know that there are more godly spiritual forces with you than evil forces. They are dancing around you, invisibly right now!
Slaughter of the innocents:
If you could have the spiritual veil pulled aside, you will see the value of the unborn and the innocent youth. You will see the value of life because it is eternal. The reward state is eternal which is why early death is tragic. It cuts short that potential.
The Bible records the slaughter of untold millions of young children. ●Pharaoh killed all the firstborn young boys. ● Herod kills the young boys under two. ●Child sacrifice to the Egyptian god of Molech (Leviticus 18:21) included aborted children. In our times, The US Supreme Court spearheaded the ●worldwide slaughter of the unborn.
Right now we are on the verge of payback time. God does not forget one innocent life slaughtered by men of antiquity and modernity!
The plagues of reprisal are coming on the wings of flying horses of death!
You see, the world can’t see that pay-back time has started.
The satanic forces are in panic mode, because they see and know that their time is just about up, so they are revving things up.
As our Lord’s coming draws closer, the surrounding environment of godly fruit, truth and saving grace is evident to those who can see. At the same time the Antichrist is drawing near with his encroaching environment of sin, error, deception and all things evil.
The work of the cross and Spirit opens eyes:
Isaiah 40:31 “Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
The phrase, “renew their strength” above, would be better translated “exchange their strength.” It is a deeper permanent exchange that takes place after we are born again. It is not a renewed old life but a radical new creation on the inside, and on the far side of the cross, from which our power to change is derived.
It is the power of death and resurrection through the cross, together with the baptism in the Spirit and the accompanying gifts of the Spirit, that give us eyesight, insight, foresight and victory.
We get eyes to see into the invisible realm by faith.
●We get to see rewards laid up for the spiritually diligent. ●We get to see glimpses of eternity and heaven. ●We get to see ourselves as dead, yet, more alive than ever. ●We get to see demons, angels and their workings. ●We get to see the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
●You get to see that you are a store of real wealth like gold. In the physical world, gold, silver and diamonds are the ultimate long-term store of value. Through the new birth, this is what you see in yourself and others born of the Spirit.
Today, so many are without hope, having their normal lives pulled out from under them. “What is your life?” (1 Thessalonians 4:13, Ephesians 2:12)
So many people are sinking like a brick in a sea of spiritual ignorance, with eyes that cannot see.
In my life as a journalist and photographer covering many wars, and news events with much death around, I often looked into the still-open eyes of a dead person, but they could see nothing. Some of the images were haunting to say the least and still engraved in my memory.
Today, those images of the dead with eyes open, for me speak volumes in type, of the unsaved, the walking dead, with eyes open that do not see! (Mark 8:18, Jeremiah 5:21)
Thank our Lord for giving us sight, understanding, wisdom and hope. – Thank you Lord!
The modern cowboy
The world, like a cowboy, has run God out of town and welcomed in sin on horseback. But listen, cowboy on your horse, if you ride God out of your town, He will oblige and leave, but you will be releasing four evil, destructive, horsemen far worse than you could ever imagine.
So, cowboy, you need to have your dead, blind eyes opened. Many will leave your world cowboy, as they get saved, and with new eyes, see untold magnificence that they never even knew existed.
2 Corinthians 4:18 “We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 “We walk by faith and not by sight.”
Romans 8:24 “We were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope, for why does one hope for what he sees?”
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
The verses above are powerful, but they are dead letters if not believed and acted on in faith. These verses come to life when you are following the risen Lord. When you see Him and walk with Him, amazing things happen and you can’t make them un-happen.
►When you have seen the risen Lord, you cannot un-see Him! You are permanently changed.
When you surrender to our Lord and fall before Him you are on the way to glory, as soon as you pick yourself up from the floor!
Bear in mind that those who had an encounter with the Lord of miracles, or the risen Lord, all fell before Him, like a useless dirty rag.
●Moses was left with a dazzling, scorched face. ●Jacob (Israel) was left limping. ●Isaiah fell before Him. ●Paul was floored and left blinded temporally. ● Peter fell before Him seeing his sinful self.
(Exodus 34:29, Genesis 32:28-31, Isaiah 6:5, Acts 9:4, 22:11, Luke 5:8)
The change in the disciples was so deep and radical that they all willingly gave their lives for our Lord in martyrdom, (except John who died of old age).
It is this experience of meeting the risen Lord, if only in faith, that empowers us to “perfect holiness” in us. It is the “pure in heart that shall see God.”
Even your thinking will be judged by our all seeing and knowing Lord. He sees and He knows it all. Yes the cross strips our sin away, but don’t think you can escape His assessment of you.
Isaiah 29:15 “Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark. They say, ‘who sees us and who knows us?’”
You can fall before the Lord in surrender or you will fall before the Lord because he has cast you down to the ground. (Isaiah 14:12-17) At the end of the day of life, every knee shall bow before Him.
Job 42:5 “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my spiritual eye sees You, therefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.”
Isaiah 33:17 “Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; they will see the land that is very far off...Look upon Zion the city of our appointed feasts; your eyes will see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that will not be taken down. Not one of its stakes will ever be removed, nor will any of its cords be broken.”
We have a powerful glimpse of our eternal state in the Lord Himself and His 40-day time period on and off the earth after the resurrection and before the ascension.
The glorious, majestic end:
Revelation 21:4 “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death and no more sorrow, nor crying, and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
2 Peter 3:11-12 “Since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of people ought you to be, in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God...”
A new world is coming, believe it or not. It is coming for those that are saved.
All liars, thieves, cheats, money manipulators, murderers, abortionists, extortionists and every other crime you can think of will be gone. There will be no need for the police, the courtroom and the jail. There will be no more watchmen needed. There will be no religions, nor politicians. There will be no more idiots, fools and stupid people.
Finally
You can die in your sins or the Lord’s salvation, or don’t die ever because of the rapture.
You need to encounter the risen Lord and the majesty of the risen Messiah! Pray for the Lord to give you that experience. It will shake you, break you and reconstruct you as a magnificent one.
The eyes have it – reopened by God, now with heavenly spiritual sight.
Guard your mind, your spirit, and your eyes with all your strength.
