I sincerely hope you real patriots out there who can see through the smoke.

The media distorts information to the point of social division. This is a photo of myself and the resilient, often charismatic, and maybe not so tactful Cliven Bundy. He's a cowboy and a helluva family man, not an orator. One thing he definitely isn't - a racist. I found his comments to not only be NOT racist, but his own view of his experiences. Who the heck are we to determi...ne another man's perspective on the world around him?! Just because Picasso's view of the world was abstract, does it negate the fact that his art was genuine? Furthermore, if you take the time to do your own research, you'll find that his statements about some black Americans actually hold weight. He posed a hypothetical question. He said, "I wonder IF" ... Hell, I'm black and I often wonder about the same about the decline of the black family. Bottom line is that we are all slaves in this waning republic, no matter our skin color. Mr. Bundy could have used any racial demographic as an example: Native Americans on reservations, whites in trailer parks, etc. He noticed the crippling effects of receiving government "assistance" and the long term result of accepting handouts. It's not progress at all. I challenge Sean Hannity, Rand Paul, and others to read my comment and reconsider their position in this matter. Individual liberties are at stake here, yours and mine. THAT is the issue. Don't let the liberal media and that weasel Harry Reid make you lose sight of the real issue here: The federal government is a burgeoning behemoth and a bully on a once constitutional playground.

I sincerely hope you real patriots out there who can see through the smoke.

How true, the right is getting paranoid and is jumping at printed stories as well as doctored TV stories from the MSM way too quickly and usually with the wrong conclusion.

I was ashamed of myself for initially believing what I heard about mr bundy's comments before realizing where it came from and the spin that was put on it to destroy him.

Well said Jim Cassellman (please excuse spelling)

I find if very difficult to see through the smoke. I have friends that are on different sides of most issues and don't care if what they pass along id false as long as it smears the other side. When I bust them on it they say many things but not an apology.

It may have gone to far on the pendulum's swing for it to swing back. Too broke to fix. Ross had a shot and I voted for him twice. Many of his predictions have come true.

It is not black or white or brown or yellow or red. It is all about the money. We as a people in the USA have sold out by not protecting our Constitutional Republic. Congress stole the SS fund and now complain it is an unfunded program. A charity issue. All of them lie, cheat and steal. Only to get re-elected . That is all that counts.

I know different I'm 75. I walked up to the window in the federal post office building in Reno, NV and got my SS card at 13 with no ID. As did many of my friends.

Just posted the following on another Forum site, but because it has two sites where you can see the edited versions, and the full correct versions - I'm also posting it here.

If you go to this site you can see Media Matters edited version of the Bundy interview (1st video) and just below it is the full version with what his actual intentions were:
http://www.tpnn.com/2014/04/25/media-matters-new-york-times-deceptively-edit-bundy-video-...

I suspect that some of you will NOT go there as you prefer to believe a lie. And, here's another one:
http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2014/04/bundy-hoax-exposed-full-video-of-cliven-bund...

The headline of this one reads: Bundy Hoax Exposed: Full Video Of Cliven Bundy’s Non-Racist, Pro-Black, Pro-Mexican, Anti-Government Remarks

All I had to do is look at Bundy to know that the first tape was pyre bullshit. He was merely reflecting on his life and observations that he has seen and observed in his years on earth. The Negroes were happier and had a family unit as slaves on those plantations. They ate together, played together, prayed together, and worked together. Now as slaves of the government because of the way the welfare laws are set up it discourages the husband in the home due to finances. With no father there is little or no discipline in the homes. The male children turn to gangs for a male figure, They do not know how to treat their women and they sure don't know how to take responsibility for themselves. That is a reason for a lot of professional athletes ending up in trouble with the law. They get all that money and they don't know how to invest it. They don't know what a father is supposed to be or do. So the Negroes of today like in Detroit, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, Milwaukee and all of the large cities in this country are miserable living on the government plantation. They have no work only idle time to get into mischief with. Bundy was correct and we have the greed and hate from LBJ to thank for this mess.
