Ok, don't believe me. But we do not live in the dark ages - you do realize it is possible to find facts on the internet, right? Or do you think you can just make something up and think everyone will believe you.

Here are some links that back me up...It is not my opinion that Trump did not fire Crozier. It is a fact...and you should not be spreading big fat lies around. If you don't believe the Navy Times is telling the truth, than you ARE a hopeless bimbo:

The "draft dodger's" rank is Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces.

I have no doubt president Trump knows more about military operations than many of his predecessors and 90% of the democrat assholes in DC. Under his orders, in less than a month, our troops made Hadji Hamburger out of two Islamic terrorist superstars. Total of 14 killed in those two operations. They shipped the Iranian beast home in a card board box and during his funeral the damned fools attending stampeded, killing 56 people.

BTW: WHAT WAS YOUR SERVICE AND RANK?

You bimbo....TRUMP DID NOT FIRE CROZIER!!!!!!!

Acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modly announced on Thursday he was firing Crozier, after a memo he wrote to his superiors was leaked to his hometown paper San Francisco Chronicle.

The memo warned that an outbreak of coronavirus on the ship — which the Navy was already scrambling to address — threatened sailors’ lives because not enough sailors were being let off the ship fast enough in Guam, where they were docked.

Modly said that Crozier did not share his concerns with his direct superior — who was on the ship — or him personally before sending the email via an unsecured and unclassified system, which assured its leak.

Modly said Crozier was not fired for raising concerns, but for doing it in a way that it would become public, which he said panicked sailors’ families and signaled to adversaries that the ship was vulnerable.

I know, you're so right! Some of the flaming ones here fall flat on their faces trying to make things up, spin and lie!!! Sometimes it's amusing....other times it is alarming to see what they are actually willing to believe!

Capt. Crozier did exactly the right thing; if he had sent his letter only to his superiors, the letter would have been passed around from office to office for God knows how many days and his sailors would begin to die.
Crozier will become one of the martyr heroes of this pandemic when the histories are written.

Right. Trump told us during the 2016 campaign that he knew more about ISIS than the generals. And the goober goofballs believed him. He knows NOTHING about military matters that are not explained to him in dumbed down terms and pictures.

Your saying Trump had nothing to do with it when within minutes after the firing Trump was tweeting and denigrating only an ignorant moron would believe Trump had nothing to do wit it.

What the hell is it with you people you can’t see what Trump is doing he ignored this virus for 2 1/2 months now he wanted to keep 3000 men aboard a ship give me an (F) ing break.

Full time blinders on and inability to do honest research and seek truth. Wonder if any of the Trumpys have seen the videos of the crew as he walked off the ship. Those men and women were not politically motivated and their emotions were pure. They show the truth!

He may have been trying to do the right thing but he went about it exactly the wrong way. He had several other options and for some reason he chose this one and when he did he knew exactly what would happen as a result.

Information regarding the operational status of an aircraft carrier (or a submarine, or a surface combatant for that matter) is classified Secret. If a CVN goes offline for any reason, it’s classified and is escalated to the highest levels of government, to include the President. So to shotgun that kind of information in a letter that’s attached to an unclassified email is a security violation of the highest order!!

Second, there are avenues that any CO should know they can use to escalate, most notably a format known as the "Naval Message.” A naval message would have received much more rapid attention, and resulted in much more appropriate reaction from Navy hierarchy, than the method he chose. Everybody’s email inbox is full, it takes hours for busy senior leaders to read, let alone respond to, an email. If he had sent an “Op Immediate” naval message, and especially if he would have made it a “Personal For,” it would have received immediate attention and notice. This option is available to any CO.

So he could have sent an “Immediate Personal For” naval message to AIRPAC. He didn’t.

He could have sent an “Immediate Personal For” naval message to PACFLT. He didn’t.

He could have sent an “Immediate Personal For” naval message to CNO. He didn’t.

Any one of these methods would have been more effective than the method he chose. Instead, he wrote a letter, attached it to an unclassified email, and shotgunned it out to ~30 people including folks who aren’t even in the Navy. The letter essentially recommended that the Navy take a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier offline - a presidential decision with significant strategic implications, and one that would have been classified Secret if it were done. So, was his objective to be effective? Or was it to receive national media attention?

The report is that he didn’t even walk down the passageway on his aircraft carrier and pound on his admiral’s door - his strike group commander - to show his admiral the letter he intended to send out to 30 folks who were not on his ship. But even if he had brought his Strike Group Commander into the conversation, shotgunning out a letter that blind-sided his chain of command.

And - if he was surprised that a letter with explosive info like this would leak to a newspaper, then he should be dismissed for stupidity or naiveté.

He has created several negative consequences for his ship that will cause it to suffer for some time:
- He diverted attention away from areas in Navy where there were more serious COVID threats. I can’t imagine how he would have reacted if he had been a submarine CO.

- He created panic with crew families when there were no serious illnesses aboard.

- Videos of him leaving the ship gives evidence that he has created a cult of personality that will cause the ship to suffer for some time.

If it was his intention to help his ship, he erred in every way imaginable. Frankly, this was grandstanding of the highest order. He didn’t take action that might have actually been effective - he took action that would get him the maximum press exposure. Well, he got it.

It’s interesting to me to see how so many people who never commanded a warship think he’s a “hero,” while so many people who did command warships see this for what it is. My only surprise is that it took so long for him to be sacked.

Source: My nephew, who is a Captain in the Navy and has been in the Navy for thirteen years.

If my nephew can brief me on this protocol, I'm sure there are Naval officers of a higher rank that are informing President Trump of the same information....and more!

5000 sailors applauding a captain who broke ranks, with the safety of the crew entrusted to him in mind, does not a “personality cult” make.

THAT's what you choose to focus on??? And it was not 5000 - what a spinner of facts you are as usual! The crew of the entire carrier was 5,000 - only "hundreds" cheered him.

https://www.newsweek.com/coronavirus-captain-crozier-navy-ship-1495974

Snip: "Videos have emerged showing Capt. Brett Crozier being applauded and cheered as he leaves the USS Theodore Roosevelt after being relieved of his position for expressing concerns about the spread of coronavirus on his ship.

The clips, which have been posted in social media, show hundreds of sailors chanting "Captain Crozier" as he exits the aircraft vessel, which is docked in Guam."

Look at the clip, liar, and tell me that's 5,000 people!

Right. 4600 sailors hated the captain for looking out for them. He should have just minded his own business and let the virus run its course.
Now I’ll tell one.
